Well I'm back,a candy post though,this time I am busy spending the holidays with my family and friends.My little miss starts school in a few weeks,so we are all spending some time together,I am going to have to get used to being alone during the day when she heads off to school.I am hoping though that I will get alot done and then when everyone is home it will be more quality time together.Anyway,I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that the New Year brings you all that you wish for.

I want to thankyou all for your wonderful friendship,and too many of you that helped me raise much needed funds for Lyndall and her family a huge thankyou,I couldn't have done it without you all.I saw Lyndall just before Christmas,she is still fighting but looks well.So,I have put together a thankyou candy to show my appreciation to all you wonderful crafters.

A card,jewellery and our kitten named Lilly.......

Hi all,well another long time between posts,my youngest started school on Monday and she seems to be settling in well.I am a little tired at the moment and still trying to get into some sort of routine.I drop the girls off,then head off to the gym,when I get home I tidy up a little,get lunch, play with our kitten Lilly(who BTW wants lots of attention at the moment....lol....) and then it is time to pick the girls up.

Anyway,moving on,the card was a commissioned card and they wanted a simple Wedding card in lilac and this is what I ended up with.I wasn't sure of it at first,but it grew on me and the recipient loved it.

The jewellery I also made a while ago,I had no idea what I wanted to make so decided to play around with the beads and these are what I ended up with.

Now last but not least,our little kitten we named Lilly,we picked her up from the RSPCA on Sunday.We were going to get a kitten in a few weeks time for our girls but decided that our youngest needed her now,as we thought having a kitten might help her to settle into school and communicate with the teachers and other children.Our youngest is very quiet and doesn't like to talk to anyone,well the fist day of school she said to the teacher "I have a kitten"......lol......and she then told the teacher all about her kitten.Lilly is only 10 weeks old and so tiny,even the kitten collar she is wearing is a little too big.The bed she is in is the smallest I could find, and it is not very big either.

Time to go,I am off to pick the girls up shortly and need to disturb poor lilly,who is sleeping on my lap at the moment.Well,enjoy your afternoon.

First Christmas cards for 2012.......

Hi all,here are my first Christmas cards for 2012,I made these about 1 week ago and yes I started early.As I mentioned in my previous post I need at least 80 cards this year,so I need to get started.I have used one of Beccy's coloured images,which I love and it got me started on my chrissy cards............no need to colour,which made these very quick to make.I am going to enter these to the Christmas cards all year round challenge,the first challenge I have entered in a very,very long time.........so happy about that.Well off to hopefully do more creating,if time permits..........enjoy your week and thanks for stopping by.

Two cards and a Gingerbread Train......

Hi all,well I finally have a little time to show you some cards I made a few weeks ago.Both were commissioned cards, I was given a few ideas on what was wanted but was also told they trust me and would be happy with what I did.Well,lucky for me they loved them and it might be that they have ordered a few cards off me now and I know what they want.I have a few other cards to show as well,but will leave them for another day.I have also started this years chrissy cards and have already completed six of them,OMG yep an early start for me I need minimum 80 cards this year and I certainly do not want a repeat of last year,so straight to the chrissy cards for me.I will post them as soon as I get a photo of them.And last but not least,a photo of the gingerbread train my girls put together and decorated.I must say they did a wonderful job considering they didn't have a piping bag and just snipped the corner of a plastic bag.These kits are fabulous,everything you need is in the kit...........we also have a gingerbread house we did not get done,so we might do that one soon.Well best be off it is getting late,thanks for stopping by.

Hi allJust a quick note to let you know I am still here,I just cannot believe that this has been my busiest Christmas ever.The last four weekends I have been busy with parties and functions,last weekend my little girl had her chrissy party,I had 10 family members for dinner Saturday night and Sunday I had to go to the city for jewellery supplies and in the evening we went to carols by candlelight.

I have 30 orders for jewellery,most wanting earring and bracelets sets and I sold quite a bit at the little market I attended.I am still getting through my jewellery orders,which accounts for the lack of blogging.I am also making rocky road and chocolate chip cookies for my girls teachers and my friends at the gym(hmmmm not sure that is a good idea.......lol.......).

I was also asked by squigglefly to join their DT for six months,WOW was I happy about that but unfortuneately I had to turn it down,I just don't have the time at the moment.Some of you may know,I also had to leave Bizzy Becs DT,I could not keep up with all that I was doing,I was upset as I have been with Bec from the very beginning...............but Bec and I are still good friends and that is all that matters.

This weekend I have a chrissy party on Friday night,Saturday I may be babysitting my friends little girl and on Sunday is another chrissy party.Well I think that is it for now,I really need to get back to the jewellery,I will hopefully be able to do some blogging in about a week and I might even be able to get my blog candy posted.Thanks for hanging around and I hope to catch up with you all soon.

Creatalicious Challenges #28

Well it's over a week since my last post,though I have to admit I am getting a bit more done around the house.I have a few parties to attend over the next few weeks and I have been asked to sell some of my jewellery at the local gym I attend.They are having a mini market,another friend is going to sell some of her jewellery as well,I will have to get some more made though and I only have 2 weeks to do it........so should be fun.

Anyway onto the new CREATALICIOUS challenge,this month we want to see you
make something for Christmas and make sure it sparkles.
I was asked by some ladies at the gym if I could make Christmas jewellery,so I thought I would have a go and see what I could create and this is what I made............a charm bracelet and matching earrings,which are now claimed by me.....lol......We also have our new DT on board and their creations are GORGEOUS,so don't forget to stop by and say hi and also check out all of the wonderful DT creations.

Hi all,WOW it's been about 2 weeks since I have blogged.Well a quick run down on what's been happening.I was sick and my husband got a promotion within the company he works for,while I was sick I had to help him get started with his job as it was a little behind when he got it.So with that,the house went downhill,me sick and no hubby to help.I have also been spending a little more time with my little girl,she starts school next year.I did host a wine party,had a lot of fun with that....lol.....and so much more.......you get the idea.

Anyway,I have a little giveaway for you,I received an email from "My Memories" asking if I would like to try their digital scrapbooking software.I was a little hesitant at first,as there are so many dodgy things going around on the internet,my husband and I looked at their site and thought ok this looks good,so I decided to give it a go.The above scrapbooking pages have been created using this software and I must say it is very easy to use and yes it is alot of fun.I only started digi scrapbooking a few months ago because I just could not keep up with the original form of scrapbooking.I really want my children to have those memories and this seemed to be the only way of getting it done,well it is working, the above pages were done in one day(usually takes me much longer).I went to My Memories and purchased 3 digi packs to use and there are heaps of freebies on the site too.One of the packs I purchased was the Aloha pack,I needed this to scrap our holiday to Hawaii.Included in the pack was 63 digi papers,266 page elements and 208 letters...........for $6.99 USD this is the best value digi pack I have purchased to date and I had so much fun using it.

My Memories also has facebook,twitter and a blog.When the facebook page gets to 10,000 they are giving away an iPad.

A Kitchen Tea Card and yep the Jewellery again..........

Hi all, I was asked to do a few cards last week and this was one of them. A friend from my husbands work had a Kitchen Tea to attend on the weekend and asked for a card with a teapot,as the lady having the Ktchen Tea loves teapots. I found this image at Happileigh Scrappin Designs,I did cheat a little and used the pre coloured image,though I did brighten the cherries and flowers,by colouring over them. I also had to add a little teapot charm,how cute is it,anyway reports are the card was a favourite and our friend was asked where she got the card.The GORGEOUS gingham frill was purchased from Bizzy Becs,it is the first time I have used it and I love it,I am looking forward to using the other colours I have.

Ok now onto my jewellery,I have been making gift sets for Christmas and these are some of them.I have not worked with much chain and have not had a class yet,but thought I would give it a go and I really love how the set turned out.There are 2 more latte coloured glass pearls at the back of the display,I had to wrap the necklace around as it is quite long.These heart sets I have made in about 7 different colours, I have also made butterfly ones and a flower one. I totally love the colours in these sets and I had alot of fun making them,the earrings are made with swarovski crystals.(Please excuse the blu tack,I had to try and display the set together). The flower one and orange heart have been sold and this green one is on hold until Wednesday.

Well so much for me to do,I am behind in my DT work at the moment but hope to catch up on that soon.I am trying to balance doing all of my crafts and DT work,but when I get some commissioned work that comes first...............anyway, I am slowly getting back into some sort of a routine.

I will also be doing a thankyou candy shortly,I am just waiting on some more things to arrive and I am thinking I might also put up one of these coloured jewellery sets as part of the prize too..........winners choice of colour.

Well,I think my post is long enough.....lol.......just heading off to the gym now.Catch you later.

An email update from Lyndall.........

Hi all,just before I get to blog hopping I just wanted to post an update email I got from Lyndall.Some of you have asked how she is,so I thought it best to post Lyndall's email.

Hi everyone,

I cannot believe that it’s been over 6 weeks since I sent my last update email. The time just goes by so quickly, someone told me this week it’s only 10 weeks until Christmas – can you believe it??

Since I sent my last email the benefit night held to raise funds for myself, Chris & Noah took place on 10th September. What a fantastic night it was! We had a great time catching up with everyone that was there and enjoyed the entertainment by Elvis and Cosimo. Noah had such a blast, he hardly spent any time with Chris & I during the night, he was too busy running amuck with Alex (his cousin) and Sebastian (his mate) – sorry to those of you who got home to find your red heart lollypop was missing from your goodie bag, I’m unsure exactly how many the kids devoured!! A huge thank you to my friend Sue for conceiving the idea and making it happen and to my Mum, Margaret, my sister Melissa, friends Lyn, Michelle, Cheryl and Kellie for their involvement in the night, we will be forever grateful. We will also be forever grateful to all of those people that contributed financially to this evening – thank you so much.

On Monday 12th September I commenced the first round of the my new chemo regime. This involves being in hospital from Monday to Saturday, going down to the oncology unit daily for my chemo then going back to the ward. I need to be treated as an inpatient because I have to be kept on fluids for the entire time I’m there to ensure my body is being flushed sufficiently as one of the two chemo drugs can tear away the lining of my bladder. For the week that I’m in hospital I don’t feel too bad, I have no nausea (thanks to the copious amounts of anti-nausea drugs I get given) and I get plenty of rest so I thought I’d be okay when I went home – WRONG!! I had some mild nausea and was extremely tired for 3 – 4 days, my Dad came to stay and help me with Noah while Chris was at work. By about Thursday I was starting to feel normal again, which was really nice but I was not looking forward Monday as I knew it was going to happen all again.

Monday 19th September I was back in for the second round. The blood test I’d had on the previous Friday had shown a white blood cell count of 0, which means they can’t proceed with chemo so I was half expecting the oncology nurses to tell me to go home for a week – no such luck!! On Monday morning, my white blood cell count had miraculously recovered and chemo could go ahead – YAY!! (Yes, I’m being sarcastic.) So again, I was in hospital until Saturday afternoon and then went home. Unfortunately, this time I experienced all the side effects that chemo can throw at you and felt the worst I have ever since starting chemo back in April. Thankfully my Mum was able to come and stay with us to help Chris around the house and to give me that motherly love I so needed. On the Tuesday after the long weekend I went back to the oncology unit for a blood transfusion and by the end of the day I was feeling a lot better. On Wednesday morning I spiked a fever so was back in the oncology unit for the day but thankfully got to go home in the afternoon with some oral antibiotics. When I got home on Wednesday I received the very sad news that my friend Ilana, who had been battling neck cancer for the past 18 months had passed away that day, aged 34 years. Needless to say, the last fortnight has been very challenging and Noah has really struggled with me being in hospital, it’s so hard to see him going through all of this but he has so much love and support around him Chris & I just have to trust that this will be enough to help him get through this chapter of our lives.

It’s not all bad though, the last 4 days I’ve felt really good and have spent some quality time with Chris & Noah and have also managed to catch up with some friends, which has been lots of fun.

Tomorrow morning I head back for my third round of this regime, which is the last round before my CT scan to see how things are progressing. I figure, if it hurts this much it’s gotta be killing this tumour!!

I will be in touch again once I have the results from my CT scan, hopefully that should only be a matter of a few weeks.

Hi all,I hope you have been well,I have been cleaning my craft room and it's amazing the things you find.Some things you just wonder why you bought them and others you may have been looking for to use them.I still have lots more to do,but it is a start and hubby has put some extra shelves on the wall for me too.Well onto the challenge, we are up to Creatalicious Challenge #27 and this month we want to see you "Distress your Edges".Remember I said I started some digi scrapping,well that is what I decided to do for this challenge. This page is from our holiday to Hawaii,we went to the Polynesian Cultural Centre and this photo is from the parade they have showing all of the islands and this one of course is New Zealand.The kit I used for this page is a freebie by Carrie Stephens Designs(gotta love those freebies) and you can get the kit here.The corrugated board is distressed,so as you can see your possibities are endless.

A birthday card and yes more jewellery.........

Hello everyone,I am still busy, but trying to manage more blogging.Over at Creatalicious we have over 700 entries this month and OMG that is keeping me busy too....lol......what a fantastic amount of entries though............our highest yet.This card I made for my nephew a few months ago and it is him to a T......lol.......he likes to play his playstation,though I suppose like many teenage boys.I thought this image from Mo Manning was perfect and I really enjoyed colouring it.
The jewellery I made for my MIL,it was her birthday a few days ago.I used Swarovski 10mm AB crystals and they are the new ones 5328 which apparently replaced 5301.Well you should see the sparkle on these,they are just GORGEOUS.......though it was hard to take a photo of .Everything else I used is Sterling Silver,an expensive set to make but so worth it.........especially if you want a gift worth a bit more.Well,my MIL absolutely loved it,she wore it out for her birthday dinner and all you could see was this sparkle...lol....Well off to do some blog hopping and try to comment on as many Creatalicious entries as I can,then onto some cleaning.Thanks for stopping by,I really do appreciate the visits and comments.

Bizzy Becs Challenge - "Girls and Pearls"

Hi all,it's been a week since I have blogged,I just don't have the time at the moment.I have had requests for cards and jewellery, and a last minute decision to visit my husbands Aunty for the long weekend and we had no internet.My craft room is so messy at the moment, with now adding all of my goodies for jellewery making,I will need pull everything out and resort it all............so not looking forward to that.

I have now deleted all of the digi images in the Fundraising for Lyndall digi store and have drawn the winners, they are posted in the digi section of the store.

Anyway best get onto my card,it is for Bizzy Becs new challenge and this month the theme is "Girls and Pearls", Bec wants to see you create something Girly and add pearls to it.My card was made for a friend who wanted a picture of a couple of girls on the card,the card was for her sister's 60th birthday,so I suggested she use a photo of her with her sister's.This is the photo she gave me,it was a bit blurry,but I worked with it, I made it black and white and also added the negative frame.Well I was told today her sister absolutely loved it,the card brought her to tears,it is a wonderful feeling knowing that someone loves what you have created.I hope you join us on this challenge and don't forget to check out the other GORGEOUS DT creations.

Hi all,my apologies yet again for not getting to the blog when I said I would.I don't know about you,but time seems to be going quite quickly at the moment and nothing seems to go as planned.....lol..... Anyway,it is 3am here at the moment, my friend arrived about 10.30am(Wednesday) and left about 1.30am this morning(1.5 hours ago) after a huge day of jewellery making.What a FANTASTIC day we had,well I didn't get to make anything as I helped my friend,but she certainly did make alot.We also had a few little errors along the way,I would look at one of her pieces and go WOW that is beautiful.......BUT........lol........she had missed some of the beads on one side.On another bracelet she missed just one tiny bead and she just did not want to undo it....lol......so she told me to break it......OMG......so I got my tools and used one to crush it,well it worked.Anyway a fantastic day and she is already hooked.............I have created a monster......lol.....

Stacey did ask if I was going to be selling my jewellery and yes I have decided to give that a go,I have already sold a few bracelets to the owner of my local gym.I am not sure how I am going to sell these yet,though I do have an online card store that we have had for about a year now,that we have not used,I may put them in there.But,if you are interested and have a few questions just email me at chezzy31@gmail.com

A Christmas card,more jewellery and another prize.....

Hi everyone,another photo heavy post,with all the things I am doing at the moment...........I have so much to show.This card I made a while ago,the bird was made using the Stampin Up bird punch,just love this punch.The idea of inking the bird came from a blog I found while blog hopping,but it was so long ago I am not sure where I found it.I had big plans on being ahead with chrissy cards this year,but that hasn't happened,though I have already made 30 of the 50 chrissy cards my friend wants.So better get the other 20 done.

I went to an earring making class Thursday and loved it,we made 5 pairs of earrings and I don't want to part with any of them.......lol.......I even have family members eyeing off some pieces................well I might be checking bags when visitors leave now......lol......One of my good friends now wants to make jewellery,so she is coming over wednesday to make jewellery with me. She has never made jewellery before and just went to a beading shop and spent quite a bit on beads etc, so she must be really looking forward to making the jewellery. Above are some more bracelets I have made,I will show the earrings over the next few days as I have not taken photos of them yet.I also need to work on getting better photos of the jewellery,they sparkle so much they don't show up,so the photos are being taken without a flash at the moment.

I am also in the process of digi scrapping our holiday and want to get that completed before the 4th October(big ask,but need to try),as Harvery Norman has a discount on their photo books at the moment............so yet again,doing too many things at once.

Ok now one last thing before I head off to the gym,yes it's the prize.Those that have purchased from the Fundraising for Lyndall store are in the running for this prize(picture above).I will draw this prize sometime Wednesday evening 28/9/2011.

Blue Butterfly - Cherry Blossom and prize winner

Hi all,I had a little time to do some creating again and made this card with a Blue Butterfly image called Cherry Blossom,isn't it a beautiful image.I received my order from Bizzy Becs yesterday and couldn't wait to use the dies I had purchased and so this is what I ended up with.The Spellbinder dies I used were Postage Stamps,Squares,Foliage and Spiral Blossom One.The intricate butterflies are Cheery Lynn Designs and the solid butterflies are from my Martha Stewart punch.

Well I'm back again,with some more jewellery,a prize and a card.The top bracelet was made at the class I attended,we used glass beads and glass pearls with 3 strands of wire.I love the three wire effect and did make a few others when I got home..........which I will show another day. The earrings are just something I did playing around,these will probably go to my daughters friend. The other bracelet is a simple glass pearl bracelet threaded onto elastic,just love the pretty colours.

Onto my card,I was asked to make a birthday card for an 18 year old boy and OMG I had no idea what I was going to do. Anyway, I found this image by Delicious Doodles and thought perfect.........and I didn't have to colour it either.

Hi there,I'm back with some of the jewellery I made at my first jewellery making class.I had a great time and loved making them and what a buzz it is to see the end result,later that evening I made three more.So,I made eight bracelets on my first day of jewellery making,not bad hey.The first is more like a bangle with no clasp and it has swarovski crystals on it.The second is an elastic bracelet made with a two tone purple bead.The third is made with glass beads.I have more to show,but will show them another day.

Now onto the parcels,they were what I received this week and I can't believe I am still getting some parcels.............much appreciation to you all.I will give you an update later on Lyndall and her cards,I am just giving her some time for her treatment and a chance to look at the cards she was given.

Hi all,I am back with my Creatalicious challenge card,sorry I did not get it posted yesterday.I was busy all day and you are all probably all thinking I should not be busy anymore,well not so.....lol.......I have my MIL for dinner this evening,little miss has a birthday party tomorrow afternoon and in the evening I have another fundraiser show to attend, and then my friends may be visiting on Sunday. And, to top things off I decided to add to my crafting habits...........jewellery making.I have been wanting to make jewellery from quite some time now and haven't because of the time factor,well after seeing the gorgeous jewellery donated to Lyndall's fundraising,I just couldn't help myself......lol......OMG my poor husband,so I now scrapbook and recently digital scrapbooking,cardmaking and jewellery making.Hmmmmm maybe I need to change the name of my blog or add to it.I went to my first jewellery making class yesterday and absolutely had a ball,thanks to the lovely girls at Get Beaded,we made 5 gorgeous bracelets with different techniques for beginners.Later that evening I made another 3 bracelets,OMG I think I am hooked......lol......I will show some of the pieces either later today or tomorrow.

Anyway back to my card,I did get a little sidetracked,I made my card for a dear blogging friend whose husband is not very well, I just wanted to help make him smile and let him know that many people do care and that I am thinking of them.I found this card a little challenging to begin with,but when I got started that was it,it all came together.I still have a little trouble embellishing male cards,as I have hardly any male embellishments,but I am happy with the end result.For our Creatalicious challenge this month the theme is "Anything Goes" now how easy is that.I hope to see many of you joining us this month.Well best be off,will be heading to the gym shortly,then need to make some more jewellery and cards.........lol........Thanks for stopping by.

The benefit night,lots of photo's and Cosima singing

Hi all,well we finally had our benefit night for Lyndall. After many weeks of planning,the night was perfect.......the auctions went well and the entertainment was BRILLIANT.Our entertainment was Peter G as Elvis and the very beautiful Cosima DeVito who has the most amazing voice.Peter G was in full Elvis costume for his 30 minute performance singing quite a few Elvis hits...............it was a fantastic show.Cosima for those who don't know, was in Australian Idol 2003. I followed Cosima on Idol and was so disappointed when she had to pull out due to throat nodules,so meeting Cosima was AMAZING and my friends kept laughing at me saying I was starstruck.......lol.......I must have overwhelmed Cosima with my chatty personality and she must have thought I was a nut job or a crazy fan.....lol.....She was so down to earth and so very friendly and all I can say is WOW to that very powerful voice she has,I wish her a very successful career.

Lyndall had a wonderful time and it was lovely to see her smiling,there were about 130 people there on the night,each receiving a small goodie bag.We had a silent auction which was alot of fun but frustrating when someone outbids you.....lol......Michelle one of my friends wanted this Chrissy tree that was up for auction and someone kept outbidding her, as they would go up after seeing her and bid again,so I started bidding for her as well.Anyway after much bidding she got her much wanted tree.....lol.....We had an auction with auctioneer and he was absolutely hilarious.When it was time for speeches it did get a little sad and there were some tears.Lyndall is unsure of her future,but continues to fight and as said by her "she needs her husband Chris and little boy Noah and they need her".

Hi all,this post is to ask for HELP,a friend Lyndall is battling cancer.........and it does not look good at this stage(she has been given 3 years at most),but is getting a second opinion.Lyndall is not going to give up without a fight and so I am asking for help.It might be making her a card(to cheer her up),you may know of a business that wants to donate something for a raffle...........every little bit counts even if it is something small and anything you can do would be fabulous.Below is an email from my good friend,giving us a little info on what Lyndall has been through.........and also a picture of Lyndall and her sweet little 3 year old boy.If you can help in anyway we need the help before the 10th September,it can then be presented to her on the night.Please email me at chezzy31@gmail.com

Lyndall is the most incredible and inspiring person I have ever met.
She fought and won her battle with Cancer Ewing’s Sarcoma in her late teens, this battle meant she had to have her finger amputated to totally beat it. Heart breaking as it was. She soldiered on.
This battle took a toll on her, but her can do attitude got her through. Years passed and the cancer lay dormant and what we thought was totally gone.
But this year the rare cancer she had in her late teens manifested its ugly head yet again. This time it came back as a tumour resting on her heart.
For the past 4 months she has undergoing extensive Chemotherapy to try and eradicate it. With baited breathe we have prayed and prayed for yet another recovery. But this time we are not as lucky. Her specialist is of the belief that the tumour is not going to shrink away totally from the chemo and radiotherapy and it remains inoperable. This means that it will most likely start to grow again and may start to spread.
If I can quote from Lyndall during her battle she has said to her family and friends "Believe you me, long before Lorna Jane put it on a t-shirt my mantra has been "Never Give UP!!"We would like to organise a Benefit Night for Lyndall to help her and her family with their financial struggles.

NOTE : WOW,I would just like to say a big thankyou to those that have responded to this post and emailed me with offers of support.I am so overwhelmed by the generosity of so many people,we have had crafters want to make cards for Lyndall,send extra cards to sell,card making kits,a pearl and crystal necklace to sell,offers of digi images some to sell and another pack to raffle off and craft packs for raffling.We are also going to sell some cards(as suggested by some crafters) and the money raised will go to Lyndall,so if you have any spare cards and want to donate them please email me at chezzy31@gmail.com for the address.If you want to help in anyway please email me,this is easier for me as I would have ready access to your email address.Thankyou.

Table Decorations and more parcels.......

Hi all,here are the table numbers I have been working on for the benefit night.I had to make 15 and now they are all finished.I cut the flowers,leaves and numbers on my silhouette.The small flower has 5 pieces and the large 6 pieces,I sponged ink around every piece to give them a bit more depth and then each piece had to be glued together to make the flower.I have also scored a border around the base,they fit the theme of the night which is green, yellow and daffodils.I haven't made them too fancy as they did need to be bold so everyone knows what table they are to sit at.Well the benefit night is nearly here and we will be able to enjoy all the hard work,I hope to post about the night on Monday,as Sunday I have a family function to attend.

Below are the parcels I received today,thankyou so much to you all,we appreciate everything that has been donated.It got a bit too hard to put all of the cards donated onto the website(I have received so many) ,so I took them to my local gym and we have sold half of them already and have even had some cash donations........that is FANTASTIC!!!! I did get an email from one of my blogging friends a few days ago,wanting to just donate money,something that I did not think about.So my husband has put a donation button on the FUNDRAISING STORE,for those that do not want to purchase anything,but still want to be able to help.

Hi all,well I nearly forgot to put this card up today,my brain is in overload with the many things I have to remember to do......lol.......and my favourite coffee(a cappucino) has been my best friend over the last few weeks.Anyway this months challenge is a colour challenge and Bec wants to see you create something with the colours Blue,Green and White. Prizes for Fundraising for Lyndall online store and a bit of this and that

Hi all,I have lots of photos for you today.I did go out for dinner to a friends house Friday night,we had a wonderful time and had that yummy cheesecake.I had a much needed sleep in on Saturday due to the many nights of only 4 to 5 hours sleep a night,I woke up at 11.30am yes how late was that,but I obviously needed it.My friend Sue called to see if I wanted to come over with the other girls,have lunch and get more work done on Lyndall's fundraiser,so I went.We did some work on gift vouchers,goodies bags for the guests,slides for the auction and place mats with details of the night.I got there at about 1pm and we left at 9pm,a long day but we did get a fair bit done.Onto the next item,the above card I made with a dear friend a few weeks ago,we only really got the punched birds done and I completed the cards the following day......don't they look fabulous.We did get inspiration for these off someone else,but can't remember where, and I did change it a little.When I find out where I got the idea I will let you know.

Here is the cheesecake we had Friday night,I did grate some white chocolate on the top.We had a lovely BBQ and a great night with some wonderful people.

Hi all,it's really late,so a quick post from me.This is a card I made with one of the images available at the Fundraising for Lyndall digi store.It is Sprinkle Love Dragon coloured,I really love this image,I chose to use this one as it was already coloured and I have very little time to craft at the moment...........and, it still took me two days to finish.....lol......I have purchased quite a few of these images,so I will try to make some more cards with others over the weekend.I have received more parcels over the last few days,I will post the pictures tomorrow.We have been invited to a friends place for dinner tomorrow,so I made a mixed berry and white chocolate cheesecake to take........I will post that pic tomorrow too.Well I am falling asleep here at the computer,will catch with some of you tomorrow.

Fuzzy Bear Baby Shower Card

Hi all,a busy weekend again,cleaning,having friends for dinner and uploading new goodies to the Fundraising for Lyndall online store. I have also put some prizes up in the digi section,check it out here. The card is the one I mentioned in the last post,I used this GORGEOUS Fuzzy Bear image I got for free from Tracy Wray.It was so easy to use and I did print an extra to make it 3d.Tracy is an amazing lady and so very talented,she contacted me wanting to help Lyndall,so she sent me some digi images that she made to sell in the store.Tracy also makes digital coloured images and paper piecing with GSD files that she puts to disc and sells.........the scrapbook pages Tracy makes with these images are nothing short of amazing.You can see Tracy's work here and she also has free files.If you are going to download Tracy's free files,please do the right thing and follow her blog.

Creatalicious Challenge #25

Hi all a quick post today,I have to head off in around 20 minutes to take my little girl to preschool and then I head off to the gym.Though I have no idea how I am going to go working out,I only got 3 hours sleep last night.......my fault though.I was asked to make a baby shower card about 2 weeks ago and with being tied up with the fundraiser I forgot.I had to stay up and make the card so I could deliver it this morning.....lol......I have been running off coffee the last few days and I still have to finish cleaning and cooking when I get home for our dinner party Saturday night.Looks like my coffee machine is going to get a workout....lol....Anyway this card was made for the latest Creatalicious Challenge and we want to see you create anything with -

3 patterned papers,4 flowers and ribbon.Also make it a monochromatic creation(you can still have a coloured image),but why not challenge yourself and have a monochromatic image as well.

Hi all,well another week gone and I am still busy.I have started to receive cards for Lyndall,thankyou so much.We have also had donations of digi images to sell,and these are available in an online store we have set up,here is the link so please pop over and have a look.The above card I saw on a blog that I recently found, Linda's works of Heart,her creations are stunning and when I saw this card I just had to make it.The only problem,I didn't have the Spellbinder Sunflower,what's a girl to do, so I purchased it.....lol......I didn't have a very pale green cardstock,this was the lightest I had so I went with that,I love this card and plan on making more in different colours.I will also be adding this card to Lyndall's Fundraising store, I may also add some in other colours if I get a chance to make them.

Hi all a busy day and weekend for me,I have been shopping today,just about to head off to the gym,I then need to clean the house and my friends and I are going out to see a show called menopause tonight........should be funny.Saturday my friends and I are also getting together to discuss the progress and what else we need to do for Lyndall's fundraiser.I must say thankyou again to all that have helped so far and I am still getting emails from people wanting to help,we really appreciate all that has been done so far.Sunday I have some more friends visiting.Well anyway best get onto this months challenge at Bizzy Becs this month Bec wants to see you Use Butterflies and the Colour Blue, a challenge befitting the name Blue Butterfly Stamps.I have made a shaker card and filled it with chunky glitter and flowersoft.

Hi all,I hope you are enjoying your weekend.I watched the movie Burlesque for the first time today and WOW I loved it,Christina Aguilera's voice is totally amazing,it was fantastic listening to her throughout the movie.Anyway,onto my card,I was asked by a dear friend to make her mother a birthday card.Now, her mother is in her 80's,so I thought a vintage card might be something she would like.I used some gorgeous Pink Paislee papers,heart nestability dies and various embellishments.I did enjoy making something different for a change and I hope her mum likes it.Well off to bed,its getting late,catch you all later.

PARENTS BEWARE - DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS USE HABBO

Hi all,I am supposed to be making cards right now,but I have some important information that parents need to be aware of.We received our phone bill today and I noticed that there was an extra $72.00 charged to our bill,after checking with my provider I found out that they were information calls,well that wasn't enough for me,I needed to know more.We googled the number and found out that the number is for you to be able to buy Habbo credits,now I know my child was playing this online game and per their rules she was old enough to play.BUT, and here is where it becomes a BIG RIP OFF,your kids can buy the credits online and have it charged to your phone bill,now I had no idea that they could purchase things at all for this game.Now after going through the Habbo website,I find that this is in their terms of use "If you are under 18 years of age, you must obtain the bill payer's permission before you agree to incur any additional charges" now HELLO if all the kids have to do is press a button why the heck would they ask for mum and dads permission,let's face it not all kids at all times do what their parents say and this is where HABBO prays on that.........my child didn't even have to use the phone for it to be charged.Now after looking further I find that there is a little contradiction about the age of the child that can use the 1900 number, here under the home phone submit button it says "Be.interactive. Helpdesk 1800 65 33 44. You must be 14 years of age or older to use this 1900 service and you must have permission from the bill payer before you call".HELLO again Habbo, what happened to the kids having to be older than 18 years of age.Now Habbo will not refund your money because you are supposed to moniter your child,well yes I agree,but we cannot watch them every second they play a game, and come on lets face it, Habbo has made it much too easy to purchase credit on line, so I also believe that some of the responsibility should lie with Habbo too.They apparently will ban your child if this happens,well fabbo but they already have my bloody money and I am sure this is by no means an isolated incidence.So how much money do you think has been scammed from children,any other industry comes under much scrutiny when dealing with children, so why not the internet.After all, our kids now have to use the internet for school and it is as we all know a way of the future and it is not going to go away.Habbo needs to make it a little harder for kids to be able to buy credits,like maybe they need to set up paypal,credit cards,BPay etc there are many ways of being able to purchase things online and Habbo need to have a look at this.Well,this will be it for my child no more Habbo and I recommend that if any of your children are playing stop them now, before you get a surprise phone bill.Remember, all they have to do is enter their id, press one button and hey presto you have been scammed,if you feel the same way, why don't you blog about this to warn other people.Well I think I have said all I want to say,now I am going to make some cards to wind down.Catch you all later and thanks for making it through this post.

Hi all,going to try and make this post quick....lol....I have had the flu and am still getting over it,my internet went down and at the moment I am cooking pumpkin soup,slow cooked chicken casserole and have some lemon tea muffins in the oven........oh and after this post need to try and fold the clothes and get them put away.How's that for multi tasking.Anyway,I have been asked to make some baby cards, so started off with this baby boy one,I love this image it is from Digi Doodle Shop and I first saw it on Dora's blog.I loved the cards she made with it,you can see her cards here and here.I have also started a baby girl card with this image,I just need to finish it off with embellishments.The other photos you can see is some of what I cooked last week,pumpkin soup(yes again) and a pumpkin scone loaf........and it tastes so good.You can get the pumpkin scone loaf recipe here if you would like to give it a go.Well,best check on my cooking,will catch up with you all later.Have a good day.

Hi all,well it's time for another Creatalicious Challenge,this months challenge was set by Bec and she has gone with a 1920's theme - Lets go back in time to the 1920's..when I think of the 1920's I think of Vintage, Tassels, Feathers, Hats & Black and White.. the possibilities are endless..,I really enjoyed this challenge and I am sure you will to.I decided to go with a vintage look,I did have a little trouble with embellisments,as I wanted to use feathers and tassels.....but didn't have any in the colours I needed.The image is a digi from Digi Doodle Shop.The flowers,lace,ribbon,pearls and dies were all purchased at Bizzy Becs. Hi all,I can't believe it's already been a week since my last post,WOW does time fly.This Drawer Box with Easel Card was made for my dear friend's daughter,it is her birthday this month.I have been wanting to make one of these for such a long time,and I decided now was the time, as we have bought her a few dress jewellery necklaces and they will fit perfectly in this.My friend and her girls will be visiting tomorrow to spend the day with us,and we are planning on making some chrissy cards,I just hope I can get alot done to put into my stash.Anyway,I will be giving this to the recipient tomorrow and I do have a feeling that she will be really pleased with this.Well must be off,I still have to exercise,make some sweets and do a little bit of a tidy up.....nothing like the last minute rush.Thanks for stopping by.

Hi all,I'm back with another Butterfly Sweetheart and her name is Poppy.These images are gorgeous and perfect for girl cards,they are also wonderful to colour.I had a little trouble with this one,I just wasn't in the cardmaking mood and it took me a few days to put together.......I just couldn't make up my mind on papers and a LO.After a few days of fussing over this card,I am pretty happy with the end result.The leaf punch and flowers are available at Bizzy Becs,the large white flower I made with a punch,if any of you are interested in making this flower let me know and I will try and get a tutorial done.The butterflies have been punched out of cardstock and the second layer out of vellum,I have also added stickles to the vellum for a bit of sparkle.Well best be off,I will catch up with you all tomorrow.....thanks for stopping by.

Good afternoon all,well here is my last Pin Up Girl and isn't she a stunner.Being a showgirl,I decided she needed all the glitz and sparkle.......and this is what I came up with.I was going through my stash to find some long lost items that I might use and I found this Metallic Corrugated Board.This was purchased about 3 years ago and never used,I didn't like it after I purchased it......lol......,but kept it anyway.Well,I am so glad I did, as I really like metallic with this image.If you would like to see this a little clearer,just click on the image.When I upload my images to the post they come out fuzzy,but the original size as you will see is very clear,so no idea what is happening there.Anyway,have a great weekend,I know I will as I am heading off to see Jersey Boys with my friends........OMG I can't wait!!!!

Hi all,my apologies for not being around,I have just had so much going on and can't keep up with everything.I haven't had time to blog and haven't made a card in a week,which is so not me.I have missed making cards,but there is something I have loved even more and that is spending more time with my girls,especially the little one as she goes to school next year.I realised I won't have my baby around the house during the day next year and really want to make the most of having her with me now,next year I know there will be lots more time for crafting.Well,onto my card,before I start to cry....lol....I received my order from Bizzy Becs yesterday and couldn't wait to play with my new toys.The lattice was cut using a Cheery Lynn die and WOW I love it and it is quite large,my only problem was I loved the paper so much, I didn't want to cover it....lol.....so I did the next best thing............cut the lattice,and this is the end result.The gorgeous image,flowers,DP and die are all available at Bizzy Becs store.Well best be off,enjoy the rest of your week.

Hi all,I hope you all had a wonderful Easter,we did and ate too much food as well and OMG am I going to pay for it now.....lol......This card was made using one of Blue Butterfly stamps newest releases called Daisy Collection, these images are GORGEOUS and perfect for many occasions.I thought this image had a tropical feel to it and well this is what I came up with.I have stamped and punched the flowers,used markers in the centres for some depth and then added some pearls.You can get these images here and they are 25% off at the moment,so get them before the sale finishes.

I will be busy over the next few weeks organising my little girls birthday party, baking her birthday cake,buying all the goodies etc.She did already have an all day birthday party on Saturday,but that was for family and with easter as well........I was not able to blog.I will be blogging,but only when I get a chance,then I will be back to normal and ready for crafting in winter....yeahhhhhh.Below is the birthday cake I made for the family party,I am not sure yet what I will be making for her birthday party in a few weeks,but I know I am going to have fun making it.BTW I forgot about the the meringue bugs in the oven and they split....lol....it still did taste good though.....oh and it was mud cake.Well enjoy your week.

Craft Day with Friends Making Mothers Day Cards

Hi all,well Saturday I had a craft day with my friends,which I mentioned in a previous post......they wanted to come over and make Mothers Day cards.So,Friday I was busy cleaning and making these cards for them to copy,my friends don't colour images when they occasionally craft.I wanted them to experience the fun of colouring and remembered seeing this colouring technique while blogging on quite a few blogs,I knew they would be able to make these,so I made 4 different ones for them.They loved the cards and had so much fun making them,they said that no one would believe that they made them.........so they popped a handmade by stamp on the back and wrote their names on them.The design for these cards were cased from Sandi MacIver,she makes the most gorgeous cards with these images,though I have changed them a little and also used brighter colours.I did enjoy making these,so you may see some more cards with these images in the future.Well I best go,it's already 1:15am and I need to start getting to bed at a more reasonable time.Enjoy your week.

Good afternoon,well no time to create over the last few days,there are too many things going on and one of them me being kicked out of my craftroom so my girls could make my birthday cards.My youngest loves to make cards but the oldest not really and always leaves it up to her little sister.Well hubby took the youngest to the craftroom to help her make a card,well that is when the fun started....lol...She got out the inks and sponges etc and I said to hubby you will have to help her and hubby says I don't know what to do with that she knows more than me,how about we use stickers....lol....so that is what they did.Well all was going well until the eldest decided to go into the craftroom and give her 2 cents worth and help the youngest,well she was not impressed and wanted to do it all by herself....lol....I told hubby he had to sort it out because I am not allowed into my room....hehehe.When the card was finished little miss told me to shake the card and she told me there were googly eyes on the butterflies,she is so pleased with her card and I think its GORGEOUS. After that,my eldest decided she was going to make me a card and wanted to use my copics,thats when I started to cringe.Well she did an AMAZING job for someone who doesn't really like to craft.

I also received a GORGEOUS card from my blogging buddy Lynda,thankyou so much I adore this card......I love anything vintage and this is PERFECT!!! Well off to the gym,enjoy your afternoon!!

Well here is another image from the Miss Cherry Martini collection,which will be available as digi's from Bizzy Becs on the 1st April.I love these images,they have such pretty faces.These images do remind me a little of steampunk,but I do not have any papers with this sort of theme,though I have fixed that........lol........I did just order some Graphic 45 paper pads and should get them next week.I used October Afternoon papers called Report Card,I was going to use 2 patterns,but didn't want to cover too much of that handwriting DP.......I love it and thought it was a perfect match for this image.I am not going to put a sentiment on this one,I will do that when I know what the card will be used for,I have left plenty of room so it can be added later.You really need to check out what the DT have created with these images,they are GORGEOUS.Well off to do the DT post and then off to bed,I am actually falling asleep at my desk,at least I can get straight to blog hopping and commenting tomorrow.Have a good weekend.

Hi all I'm back with another card from the Boyz will be boyz collection.I have used Cool Cody and the train from the accessories pack,I merged to two of them in photoshop.I find embellishing boys cards very hard,I do not have much for boys at all and find I always seem to use stars...lol...I do have one more card to show you from this range,but will show that in the next day or two.I have had a busy day today,both of my girls had birthdays parties to go to and the eldest will be going to a sleepover after her party is finished. One for the Boys and a Creatalicious DT Call

Hi all,here is another card using one of Blue Butterfly Stamps new release boy images "Boyz will be boyz".What a fantastic range this is and perfect for those cheeky little boys in your life....lol....I must say I am finding it hard lately to make boy cards,I do have very little boy papers and embellies, as I have 2 girls.........so everything I have is girly.I covered the water on this image with glossy accents and I used chalk for the sky.I am not that happy with the sky though,I do prefer the airbrush look.But, at this stage I am not looking to buy the airbrush system, as I just don't think I would use it that much............just like some other tools I have........shame on me.....lol.....

Good morning,I have just finished posting the new Creatalicious challenge and thought I should get my post done quickly.This months challenge was set by Bec and she wants to see you create something

Two Tone/Colours - Create a card or project that is two tone - if it has an image this can be colour.. but the surroundings to be Two Tone Colours only.. If pattern paper is used.. try make it a two tone paper.

I decided to use the colours blue and yellow,my papers for this challenge were almost two tone,I just had a touch of green in it............but pretty close I think.I have had this fabulous image coloured for weeks and have been wanting to make a card with it.Now this image is a freebie from Beccy's Place,yes that's right a freebie........Beccy is such an amazing artist and she puts all her images up for free,you really need to check them out.Now if you want this fabulous image Nell in Swimmers you can get her here,don't forget while you are there check out the rest of the images and remember to thank Beccy for sharing.

The flowers,leaves,cuttlebug folder,droplets,brad and glitter were all purchased at Bizzy Becs.The flower was handmade by me with tissue paper and a pearl brad has been added to the centre.......then the edges were covered in stickles.I got the tutorial for these gorgeous flowers from Rachel who is 15 years old,you can see her tutorial here.Well I think that is it,it is really late here and I need to get to bed,so I will catch up with you all later in the day.Thanks for stopping by.

Good morning all,I have been having fun with some punch art the last few days and this is another I have been wanting to try.I have seen a similar card on a blogging buddies blog Kez at KB Papercraft,she makes wonderful Stampin'Up! cards.The scene from my one did come from someone else who went to a Stampin'Up! regionals meeting,but I can't give credit as they did not put their name on it.Mine is a little different though,I cut the grass with my silhouette,used the cuttlebug swirls embossing folder for the sky and put little googly eyes on the sheep.....just love that they move....lol....You can also see similar punch art cards at Splitcoaststampers here,you will have to go through alot of pages,but there are so many ideas on punch art.....have fun looking.Thanks for stopping by.

Hi all,I'm back with some punch art and I loved making this little cutie.I have been wanting to make this card for months now and I finally did it.I saw this card on my blogging buddies blog 1,2,3...EasyPC and I just fell in love with it,just too cute for words.I am not sure who originally came up with this little sweet pea,but you can also see it here on Andrea Walford's blog and it also includes a tutorial.BTW the joys of casing cards,I love it that they are so quick to make,the brainwork is all done for you....lol.....Mine is a little different,I have added some little peas to the vine using 3d foam and I have also used the 3d foam on the head.Well that's it for today off to do some hopping and creating.......thanks for stopping by.

Hi all,its getting late here, but I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know that Bec from Bizzy Becs is releasing some new images, and they will be available as digis from 5th March.The fantastic thing about this release is we now have some more boy images to chose from....yeahhhh and how cute are these.This is Cody in the mud, the little lizard is not a part of this image,but it is a part of the collection I have merged them together on top of Cody's head.Now I do have a little story about how Cody got this dirty,well it is my theory anyway and it goes like this. Cody was chasing the lizard,he feel into the mud and the lizard crawled onto his head.And what do you get.....that priceless look.......lol......I am sure many of our children at some stage have given us looks similar to this...........ahhhh the memories.Well it is 1:45am here and I do need to get to bed,I will catch up with you all tomorrow.Enjoy your day.

Good evening,its now day 5 of the new release and this BEAUTIFUL image is called Bella on a Swing,isn't she just lovely.I wanted to use colours I don't often use for this one and found these papers I have had stashed for a few years now.I wasn't too sure on these papers at first,but I think the embellishments really lifted it all and I am pleased with the end result.All of these wonderful embellishments are available at Bizzy Becs,I must say I do love that star pin.......I will be purchasing more of those.

Challenge Time

Hi all,I hope you have been enjoying your week.This is the first of a few commissioned cards I have to make,the colours and image were selected by the recipient and this is what I came up with.I am pretty pleased with the result, considering I have practically nothing in that shade of blue.I was determined to get some challenges in this time,it has been months since I have been able to join in with any challenges.I don't know about anyone else,but I always seem to be short of time at the moment.........hopefully that changes soon.Mandy did comment in my last post and suggested no sleep, I did try that, but it did eventually catch up with me.....lol.....Thanks anyway Mandy......lol.......Well best be off to comment,get some sleep so I can get the other cards started(yeah right) and start my posts ready for the New Blue Butterfly release(so keep an eye out it starts on the 18th Feb).Thanks for stopping by.

Bizzy Bec's February Challenge

Hi all,sorry this is a little late I should have posted it this morning.I am still busy with many things at the moment and well the heat is also taking its toll on me,I just can't stand to craft and sit at the computer,whenit is this hot.We have been having 35 degrees celsius and above since Monday and today it is 42...........and well I have totally had enough of this hot weather.I also have my MIL visiting tomorrow and she will be staying for dinner and a dear friend from Queensland will be here to stay for a few days,so this weekend we have also been busy cleaning and getting everything ready.I have also been trying to get some DT creations done,some of which are from Bizzy Becs new release which will be on the 18th February.I am still in the process of creating with these images and am loving it,just not happy with the heat....lol.....

A Card For Rio

Hello everyone,I am back with the card I made for Rio.It is Rio's birthday on the 8th February and she has decided that she wants all her birthday money to go to sick children,you can read the post here.Now Rio's mum Betty from Simply Betty Stamps has also designed a digi for her and all the proceeds from this digi will also go to the sick children.All Betty is asking if we could please make a card for Rio and make her birthday special,well I was so happy to do so.I think this little lady has taught us all that it doesn't matter how much you give, it is the thought that counts and every little bit does help.I loved the digi papers I used for my daughters card,so I used them again but in the pink and green and WOW it is bright.I don't normally like bright colours,but I just had to use them with this image and I really do love how it turned out.The papers are a digi freebie and you can get them here.So if you can, please join in and help those in need.Well it's very late here,I need to get to bed,will catch up with you in the morning.Thanks for stopping by.

A Teenage Birthday

Hi all,I finally got some time to make my daughters birthday card.I was blog hopping a few days ago and found this image from Simply Betty Stamps,the short version of the story is Betty's daughter wanted to give all she gets for her birthday to charity. Day 4 and another GORGEOUS image to show you.I felt the urge to make something different for a change,most of the time I only ever really have time for cards...............so I made the extra effort to get a box drawer done with an easel card attached to the top.You can get the tutorial for the drawer box here and the easel card here,you will have to change the measurements of the easel card so it fits the top of the box.The digi tickets I used are a freebie from Miss Cutie Pie and gosh these are so very beautiful,you really need to check them out.

Creatalicious Challenge #18

Hi all,I am so sorry I have not been here in over a week,I have been busy and had alot of things that had to be done straight away.Anyway I am back and have a lot of catching up to do.I have just finished the Creatalicious challenge post and thought I'd better put my post up.
This month's challenge is all about the Ribbon - create something that shows some Ribbon. Make it a LOVE theme.

I didn't have alot of time left to do my creation,so I decided to paint a chipboard heart with gold and use some crackle medium to get a crackle effect.Then when dry I sprayed some gold glimmermist over it.The tickets are freebies from Miss Cutie Pie,you really need to check these out,they are gorgeous.I couldn't get a good photo of this,so the top photo was taken with a flash and shows the gold and the bottom photo without a flash so you can see the dimension.Well it is very late here and I am really tired,will start catching up with you all in the afternoon.
