Finally...........some cards!!!!

Hi all,wow another long time between posts and as much as I love to craft,I have realised that there are more important things in life...........and that would be my family.So crafting is not something I get to do often at the moment,but when I do I really enjoy it.Anyway a friend asked if I could make her some cards and these are the first of them and I was hoping that I would remember how to colour.....lol......I love how they turned out,considering it has been a while since I have made a card,so I am looking forward to making the other two.
Well best be off,I have my youngest home sick and I am hoping that I may be able to make the other two cards while she has a sleep.

Creatalicious Challenge #33..............

Hi all,firstly I wanted to say thankyou for all the lovely comments I received and I will get back to you all over the next couple of days.Well,little miss and I are finally better and I am slowly getting back into my crafting,I did make a commissioned Wedding card yesterday,but I had no time to take a photograph.I did however get to take a photo of the above commissioned card that I also combined with my DT duties over at Creatalicious.

Finally some cards............

Hi all,well I finally got some cards made.The top one made with an image from Anita be Stampin,and the carriage I think is a Christina Re image.The top card was a commissioned one and as you can see the birthday girl is pregnant,so this was the perfect image.
Last week I received an email from a lovely lady called Fay,she asked if I would make her some cards with her own line of rubber stamps and I said yes.So at the moment I am in the process of making four cards for Fay,which when finished, will be sent to her to display in her shop.
As you can probably tell,I have had a blog makeover and I LOVE IT!!!!! I have always wanted a blog that is just mine.The lovely Chris from Get Inspired With Chatterscene did my makeover,she is a wonderful lady and does amazing blog makeovers at a fantastic price.So if any of you are interested just click on the above link or I have her link button on the top ride hand side.
Well,I have still had some minor issues with my internet and it always seems to go down when I am ready to use it,but all looks good today,so after my little miss has been organised for bed,I will try to get some blogging done........so will be catching up with you all shortly.

Fuzzy Bear Baby Shower Card

Hi all,a busy weekend again,cleaning,having friends for dinner and uploading new goodies to the Fundraising for Lyndall online store. I have also put some prizes up in the digi section,check it out here. The card is the one I mentioned in the last post,I used this GORGEOUS Fuzzy Bear image I got for free from Tracy Wray.It was so easy to use and I did print an extra to make it 3d.Tracy is an amazing lady and so very talented,she contacted me wanting to help Lyndall,so she sent me some digi images that she made to sell in the store.Tracy also makes digital coloured images and paper piecing with GSD files that she puts to disc and sells.........the scrapbook pages Tracy makes with these images are nothing short of amazing.You can see Tracy's work here and she also has free files.If you are going to download Tracy's free files,please do the right thing and follow her blog.
I have also received some more parcels,thankyou so much to all you wonderful crafters that have sent these parcels,every little bit will help Lyndall and her family and they appreciate your help very much.
Now onto that yummy pie you can see,this is the dessert I made for last nights dinner,it is a festive mixed nut pie..................and WOW it was good.I still have some left,hmmm what a shame many of you don't live close....lol....Well best be off,still have a few photos to upload to the store,will catch up with some of you tomorrow afternoon.

Another Baby Card

Hi all,I am back with the other baby card I said I had nearly finished.I love this image from Digi Doodle Shop and just had to make another card card with it,but this time for a girl.This card is similar to the other,but not the same,I just love the all white with embossing.I also have one more of this image already printed,so you will be seeing another card with this image soon.The flowers and rhinestones on this card are available at Bizzy Becs,though the flowers were white,I did sponge them with some pink ink.I also wanted to let you know Bec has some FANTASTIC new products in store including stamps,embossing folders and dies.......you really need to check these out.Well,need to get some things done,will be back later this evening.Enjoy the rest of your weekend.Below is a peek at some of the new products.

A baby Boy Card and some Cooking

Hi all,going to try and make this post quick....lol....I have had the flu and am still getting over it,my internet went down and at the moment I am cooking pumpkin soup,slow cooked chicken casserole and have some lemon tea muffins in the oven........oh and after this post need to try and fold the clothes and get them put away.How's that for multi tasking.Anyway,I have been asked to make some baby cards, so started off with this baby boy one,I love this image it is from Digi Doodle Shop and I first saw it on Dora's blog.I loved the cards she made with it,you can see her cards here and here.I have also started a baby girl card with this image,I just need to finish it off with embellishments.The other photos you can see is some of what I cooked last week,pumpkin soup(yes again) and a pumpkin scone loaf........and it tastes so good.You can get the pumpkin scone loaf recipe here if you would like to give it a go.Well,best check on my cooking,will catch up with you all later.Have a good day.

EDIT - I have finished muffins and couldn't work out why they didn't rise and were a little doughy and oh bugger,I forgot the eggs....lol.....Now tell me who forgets eggs,I very rarely make a mistake cooking,so going to blame this on being sick and trying to do too much......lol.....Just to let you know,they still did taste ok.

Bizzy Becs Store Blog Challenge - Borders and Frames

Hi all,I have some new followers and would like to say thanks for following.I have tried to follow you all,but some of you don't have a link to your blog,so if you have a blog just leave me a comment with your blog address so I can stop by and see you.Well,onto my creation for Bizzy Becs Store Blog Challenge,the theme this month is Borders and Frames,so I decided to decorate a Shadow Box Frame for a friend who is having a baby.The frame holds a 4x6 photo, so as you can imagine there was not alot of room for decorating,but I managed to squeeze in as much as I could and I love the end result.I think I have covered Borders and Frames in this challenge,well for one the frame....lol....and the patterned border that will border the photo when it is placed inside............pretty clever,huh.Well, I thought so.The images are digis I purchased from Digi Stamp Boutique,the sentiment is a Verve Stamp and the flowers,rhinestones and pearls are available from Bizzy Becs.I do hope you join us on this challenge,there is a fab new prize up for grabs and don't forget to stop by and check out the GORGEOUS DT creations.

A Little Punch Art

Hi all,I'm back with some punch art and I loved making this little cutie.I have been wanting to make this card for months now and I finally did it.I saw this card on my blogging buddies blog 1,2,3...EasyPC and I just fell in love with it,just too cute for words.I am not sure who originally came up with this little sweet pea,but you can also see it here on Andrea Walford's blog and it also includes a tutorial.BTW the joys of casing cards,I love it that they are so quick to make,the brainwork is all done for you....lol.....Mine is a little different,I have added some little peas to the vine using 3d foam and I have also used the 3d foam on the head.Well that's it for today off to do some hopping and creating.......thanks for stopping by.

Bizzy Becs November Competition

Hi all,firstly I just wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments and hugs on the passing of my Aunty,you are all so wonderful and caring.I am doing better now, I do have my moments and to top it all off my 4 year old got sick on Sunday and she is not sleeping well through the night.....so I am exhausted.I have managed to colour some images,but that is it......well at least I have some ready to go.I will try and stop by to see you all over the next few days,though I do have a wedding to attend on Saturday and the copics certification is on Monday.Just hope I get enough sleep.

Good evening,this is the last of the baby cards I made for my friend, and yet again I took the easy option and used a sketch.I am entering this card into the CLP Challenge #28,I just love Chelsea's sketches.......she puts so much detail into them.The purple DP is a digi paper from Cuddly Buddly,I purchased this a while ago,when I saw it on someone elses blog.........and I am so happy I will never run out of it.....lol....The lace and gorgeous rose are available at Bizzy Becs,just love that Bec has many different coloured flowers.......I always have something that matches my cards.Well have alot to do,another busy day for me tomorrow.......Enjoy your day.

Whiff of Joy Baby Card

Whiff of Joy Baby Card

Good morning all,it has been a few days since I have done any blogging.A dear friend of mine and her hubby are on holidays and stayed last night.I spent the last few days getting ready for their visit,everytime she visits she likes to go through my card collection and take her favourites and of course she always pays me.............well she nearly cleaned me out.........lol........I also had to make her three welcome baby cards and the third one she only told me about 2 - 3 days ago.When she arrived I told her I had completed two cards and the third I was going to finish last night while she was here,she was going out to visit a few friends last night and forgot to tell me she needed it then.So with about an hour and a half to spare,I made this card and lucky for me I had already coloured the image.Now on top of that she has also asked me to scrap her wedding photos into an 8x8 album,she is lucky I just love her to bits.....lol......hmmmmm I really need to try and get this scrapbooking started.Well best go,I have another two cards to make for my friend,she asked for them before she left this morning...........and I need to get them posted to her sister and she will pick them up there while she is visiting.Will be doing some blog hopping this evening,enjoy your day.

Bizzy Becs August Competition

Good morning,I hope you all had a wonderful weekend......we did.We decided to go for a walk to the local shops,but the one that is furthest away and then take the girls to the park on the way back.Well,it took us 45 minutes to get there and obviously the same to get home with a stop at the park.My little miss was so tired that she put herself into bed and feel asleep.........hmmmmm sounds like lots more walks for us....lol....

Baby Boy Card and Blog Candy Win

Hi all,I think everything is over now and I can get back into crafting.As you know,we only got back home from holidays at about 7.30pm last night and this morning my little one had a birthday party to go to and then I took my eldest and her two friends to see Eclipse and I loved it.Though I do get annoyed at the endings because I want to see more.....lol......I do have a few things to show you that I didn't get to before we went away,but I will start with these.A while back I told you I had to make a baby girl and boy card,I showed you the girl one and now this is the boy one.I used a Pink Cat Studio image,I love this image it is so cute........I have been asked to make a baby girl card with this image as well.The second picture is the awesome blog candy I won a few weeks ago,Tammi from Tropical Dreams went through her images and offered them up as blog candy and LUCKY me won these 20 Stamping Bella images and the gorgeous card she sent me.Thankyou so much Tammi and I am so sorry it took me a while to blog this.The embellishments and ticket I used on my card are available at Bizzy Becs.I also must apologise to you all,I had very limited access to the internet while I was away and we were out everyday that I didn't get to do much blog hopping.Well I think that is all enjoy your week.

Creatalicious 3d Challenge

Good morning all,another autopost and hoping it works,the school holidays will be over in a few days and all will be back to normal.Its time for a Creatalicious challenge and this month it was set by our wonderful DT member Penny she wants you to

"Show Some 3D - this can be anything ( a box, paper tole, bag...etc... the possibilities are endless...)"

I was running out of time to get my creation done so I had to combine this challenge with a card that a friend wanted me to make for them. And yes,it is another baby shower card.....lol....The mum to be has decorated the baby room in bright colours with an underwater theme.I found it difficult to make this at first,as I kept thinking baby shower and couldn't get over bears,stars,pastel colours etc.....lol.....So I had to get baby shower out of my head and just do a fish card,this is the end result.I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.Now the 3d part on my card is the two fish and starfish are popped up on 3d foam,I have also added some stickles to the fish and the seaweed.So come on over and check out the gorgeous DT creations and enter your own creation........we would love to see what you come up with.Thanks for stopping by.

A Cuddly Buddly Baby Shower Card

Good morning,here is another one of the baby shower cards I had to make.I spotted this cute little image over at Cuddly Buddly and thought it would be perfect for a baby shower card.........it is just so cute.I have had a few cards to make the last few days,so to help me get through them I have been using a few sketches.This card uses the CLP challenge blogs sketch,and must say it is another awesome sketch I am sure I will use again.I am also going to enter this at The Spotted Chick(a fellow Bugaboo DT member),Jeanie has a challenge every week to use Kraft cardstock.I absolutely love Kraft cardstock but don't use it enough,it goes with anything and always looks fabulous.Well,it's getting late......will catch upm with you all in the morning.Enjoy your weekend.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge

Good evening,yeah I am getting back on track again,thankyou all for stopping by and  for your warm comments.......it is much appreciated.I have had a few card orders that need to be finished by Friday and I have finished 2 this weekend,this is one of them.I still have another baby shower card to make,then I start on the next lot.Anyway I was having trouble finding a few images for baby showers cards,I need 3 cards and I couldn't use the same image as they are all going to the same baby shower...lol....So I found this cute Sassy Cheryl's image going through my files and thought this would be perfect.I did however make one mistake and that was to print the image way too big,I decided to work with it anyway and I quite like that the bear has centre stage.Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week was to emboss,so I have embossed the flowers.I have also used stickles around all the edges,I am so hooked on edging the cardstock in glitter at the moment......I have done it on the last few cards.The rhinestones and doily are from Bizzy Bec's and the rest is from my own stash.Well must go and get the Creatalicious challenge post ready,the new challenge starts tomorrow.Thanks for stopping by.

For Baby

Good evening all,yep it's been a few days since I have been here.I have decided life is way too short to be spending it all in front of the computer(prior to the last few weeks it was becoming an obsession).So while I will still be crafting and blogging and of course visiting your blogs, it won't be everyday.I have really been enjoying spending time with my family the last few weeks and I don't hear the family saying she is in the craft room again.....lol....There may be days where I do post everyday for a few days and then miss a day or two,it just depends on when I get to craft.I must say though,I feel more at ease with my decision, as I won't feel guilty about not spending any time with my family and I still get to craft and blog,it doesn't get better than that.

Well better get onto the card,one of the ladies at the gym wants a baby card for her daughter(the baby is due in August).Now, they don't know what she is having yet,but I decided to make a boy and girl card so I was in front and of course this is the girl one.I will be making the boy one soon.The baby room is going to have a giraffe theme,so the giraffe was requested and this little cutie came from Meljen's designs.The gorgeous ribbon is wrinkled ribbon,I received today from Sharon at No Time To Stamp. I had just finished putting my card together and you wouldn't believe it the postman turned up and I had to use the ribbon straight away, that is why there is only a bow...lol....My flowers,cuttlebug embossing folder and leaf punch were all purchased at Bizzy Becs.

Bugaboo Oldie but Goodie

Baby Card with Meljen's Designs

I'm back again,I had to make a baby card this weekend for one of my friends at the gym and it had to be for a girl.I used this freebie from Meljen's Designs,I love her images they are so sweet and perfect for the cute cards you want to make.Well I just had to use this gorgeous giraffe and think it is perfect for a baby card.I love this colour combo for girl cards,it is so pretty and can still be bright without over doing it.I did have trouble taking photos, as the colours are pale and when using the flash they are just too light.If you would like to check out these sweet images,you can have a look here.Well must go and do dinner,enjoy your week.
