A Kitchen Tea Card and yep the Jewellery again..........

Hi all, I was asked to do a few cards last week and this was one of them. A friend from my husbands work had a Kitchen Tea to attend on the weekend and asked for a card with a teapot,as the lady having the Ktchen Tea loves teapots. I found this image at Happileigh Scrappin Designs,I did cheat a little and used the pre coloured image, though I did brighten the cherries and flowers,by colouring over them. I also had to add a little teapot charm, how cute is it,anyway reports are the card was a favourite and our friend was asked where she got the card. The GORGEOUS gingham frill was purchased from Bizzy Becs,it is the first time I have used it and I love it,I am looking forward to using the other colours I have.

Ok now onto my jewellery,I have been making gift sets for Christmas and these are some of them.I have not worked with much chain and have not had a class yet,but thought I would give it a go and I really love how the set turned out. There are 2 more latte coloured glass pearls at the back of the display,I had to wrap the necklace around as it is quite long. These heart sets I have made in about 7 different colours, I have also made butterfly ones and a flower one. I totally love the colours in these sets and I had alot of fun making them, the earrings are made with swarovski crystals.(Please excuse the blu tack,I had to try and display the set together). The flower one and orange heart have been sold and this green one is on hold until Wednesday.

Well so much for me to do,I am behind in my DT work at the moment but hope to catch up on that soon.I am trying to balance doing all of my crafts and DT work, but when I get some commissioned work that comes first...............anyway, I am slowly getting back into some sort of a routine.

I will also be doing a thankyou candy shortly,I am just waiting on some more things to arrive and I am thinking I might also put up one of these coloured jewellery sets as part of the prize too..........winners choice of colour.

Well,I think my post is long enough.....lol.......just heading off to the gym now.Catch you later.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just Magnolia Challenge Week 77
Good afternoon,I hope you have all been enjoying the weekend.I made this card last night for my Aunty who is in hospital with liver cancer, she loves my handmade cards and she used to ask me to make them for her when she needed one........so I thought it was about time she got a special one.My Aunty loves animals so I thought this sweet Magnolia holding her cat would be perfect,I know she is going to love this.Elise a blogging friend has breast cancer, though it is a different cancer to my Aunties the effects on the people with it and their families is the same.I am holding a card drive for Elise and a blog candy,so if you have time to make a card for Elise that would be wonderful, you can see the details here.

I am going to enter this into the Just Magnolia sketch challenge and Copic Creations using your colourless blender.Sorry I was in a rush this afternoon to see my Aunty, I forgot to enter Copic Creations, hope it is ok now.I used my colourless blender on Tilda's top and skirt,I didn't have light enough colours,so I used the lightest possible and then used the blender pen.I have also used the blender pen on the cat, putting some grey for shading and blending it to a lighter shade and softening it.I also love removing any little mistake with it.

Well, enjoy the rest of your day.Shortly I will be heading off to visit my Aunty in hospital,so I will be back this evening to visit your blogs. Thanks for stopping by.

For a Debutante
Hello again, you wouldn't believe what I just did,I had just posted this card and then saw some drafts that I didn't need in the dashbord,so I deleted them. And this post was one of them......arghhhh.......I don't know why after I had posted it it came up as a draft......oh well gotta do it all again. This card was made for a friend whose niece is going to a debutante ball and she wanted a special card for her.So we decided I should  do an all white card, appropriate for the occasion don't you think? The flowers, spellbinder die and cuttlebug folder used were purchased from Bizzy Becs. There are two photos so you can see all of the detail,it was quite difficult capturing it all.I am going to enter this card into the following challenges
Well best get dinner done, will stop by later to see what you ahve all been up to.

Edit - Sorry everyone I forgot to say where I got the image,it is a Sassy Studio Designs image.

Good morning and yes I can't believe it's new release day at Bugaboo again.Jodie has created these fantastic giraffe block images and you can use them for just about anything.I have made a thankyou card and a bookmark to slip inside the card. These images would make fab invitations as well,it took me a while to complete this as I really had no idea what I wanted to do.Well I am happy with the end result and thats all that matters.I have only used three of the seven images available, check out the amazing creations from the rest of the DT here.If you would like to purchase these images you can get them here and don't forget to look at the bottom of the page because Jodie has also listed a bundled price saving you money.I have used some gorgeous rhinestones for the flower centres in a brown colour and they are available from Bizzy Becs,I just can't get enough of these sparkly rhinestones.......I love them.Well it's very early morning here and I should be in bed with the lack of sleep I have had,so will see you all tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.

Just Because I Care
Hi all, sorry I have been missing again.I decided to power through all the Wedding Invitations and accessories I have to make,it has been driving me crazy trying to do them inbetween other things.I don't like knowing there is always something waiting to be done.....lol....I still have quite a bit to do,but everything has been printed. The invitations are personalised so before printing each one I had to change the names, and that took a while. Now I just have to do all the decorating and folding.
Anyway, today is for posting and catching up on blogs and back to the invites tonight and tomorrow. This was made for my dear friend Bec,she has had a real rough time in the last month,so what is better than a handmade card,I had to wait until she received it to post it.I can't believe it took the post a week to deliver it.........well,at least she has it now.It also took me quite sometime to find an appropriate image and this one from Pollycraft was perfect.I have used my copics to colour the image and my bow easy to tie a double bow.
Well, best go and do some blog hopping and commenting. Thanks so much for still stopping by and commenting while I have been busy, all should be back to normal soon.

Bigsby's Farewell
Good morning,I needed to make a farewell card for one of the girls at the gym and they really loved this Bigsby image from Karen's Doodles. This is the image Karen put up to advise people not to share digi images,it did have different words in the sign.I emailed Karen to ask if she could change the words for me and she did, thankyou so much Karen. You cannot share digi images or change them in anyway,if you have a request of any sort, it is best to email the artist with your request, and it will be up to them as to whether they can accomodate your request or not.I used this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch to make this card and I am sure I will use it again.I love using sketches at the moment as I am still having trouble with creating, and I tell you the heat is not helping,I am so looking forward to winter........bring it on I say.Going to do some blog hopping, enjoy your day!!!

A Vintage Thankyou
Good afternoon,I finally finished this card.I have seen on many blogs recently, cards with these gorgeous vintage images and I have been wanting to make one for some time........so here it is.You can get these gorgeous vintage images at Shabby chic papirskatter, and the best thing they are free.I will warn you though, they are gorgeous and you will want them all.The large blue flower came from my local scrapbooking store and the other flowers, leaves, pearls and spellbinder die came from Bizzy Becs.I have used Ranger Crackle Accents on the chipboard heart as well as Gold Glimmermist. Now you will notice my photo looks different,I found while blog hopping a new program called Photoscape and I love all the things you can do with it and it is so easy to navigate, once you have a little play with it.This card does look much prettier IRL and I still need to learn a bit more about this new program. If you want this fabulous program, you can get it here and its free.Well I must say I love some freebies, especially when your budget is a bit tight.........so enjoy.

Saved by a Digi................Again!!!
The batteries from my camera finally finished charging and lucky for me the picture I had taken was pretty good. This is another requested card,a friend from the gym wanted a card for her brother, congratulating him on buying a home and yet again I had nothing that fitted this theme. So off I went shopping and found this digi image at Squigglefly, there are five different houses in the set and they are also left and right(if you know what I am trying to say....lol...) and the price was really good as well.I printed this image quite large so that most of it covered the card,I don't think he would appreciate flowers on his card....lol....and I tried to use papers that weren't too girly as well,so I went with DCWV The Green Stack.I had fun colouring this image,it was a little different to colouring people.Well going to start another card now, thanks for stopping by.

Dottie the Hairdresser
Hello there everyone, sorry I have been missing for a few days.My 3 year old has been sick again, she has been to the doctor and is now on some medication,so hopefully that works.Bec and I were also busy trying to pick our Creatalicious Design Team, and OMG it was such a hard thing to do.....you don't realise until you have to go through all the entries.I can just imagine what some of the larger challenge blogs go through.
Well anyway I haven't managed to do much in the last 4 days, but I did get this card completed.I was asked to do a card for a hairdresser, which is all well and good, the only problem was I didn't have any appropriate images and to order some if I found any would take too long.So I checked through some of the Digi images I know about, and found Dottie.....lol.....She comes from Charmed Cards and Crafts where you can also get the Pixie chicks. So I purchased the Dottie at Work collection and the fabulous thing about it was, I had my images to work with in about 5 minutes.I did have fun making this card and that image and sentiment make me laugh everytime I look at it.A few of the panels have been popped up on 3D foam tape to give it some dimension.Well must go and make the other requested cards. Thanks for stopping by.

Good Luck

Hi all,I hope you are getting some crafting in and enjoying your weekend. As I said last post I have been busy the last few days,I had some requests for cards and they had to be completed for the following day. This is one of the cards.I am really loving the rich Autumn colours at the moment,so I started out wanting to use these colours and the rest just fell into place.I have used my Retro flower punch, curled the bottom flower under and the top flower has been curled upwards.I have used roses from my stash and instead of cutting the stem,I have curled it around my small paintbrush. The idea came from Camilla's blog, she makes the most beautiful cards.Kaisercraft has also got some new coloured pearls,I am not sure how long they have been out but I loved the colours and purchased some a few weeks ago.Well, this is the first card that matched the pearls, you can't see them very well but they are a chocolate colour. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.
