The Greeting Farm CHA Relay - Digi 4

Good evening,I finally get to post my last CHA relay card.I made this card this morning and needed it to be a simple one, as I had alot of running around to do today. When I went to post it in The Greeting Farm gallery,I found that the relay had been cancelled. It was a shame that the challenge was cancelled, but I had fun while it lasted and I think all the girls at The Greeting Farm should be congratulated for all their hard work under so much pressure. The digi ticket I used comes from Bizzy Becs digi store and it is the Vintage sheet. You get a full A4 sheet of different sentiments, love the design of this one.Well time to go blog hopping, thanks for stopping by.

The Greeting Farm CHA Relay - Digi 3 and My Daughter's Birthday Card
Good evening,I am very late with posting today,it is my eldest daughters birthday today and we have also been trying to get her organised for her first day of High School tomorrow. I was also very late making her card,as I had committed myself to other cards, which also put me behind with the Greeting Farm relay and I thought I missed it.The different time zones can get a bit confusing when you have lots to do.I am happy to say that I did get them done, but I will have to get onto the next as soon as I get the image, as I have another busy day tomorrow.Onto my daughter's birthday card, she wanted it to be the same as the invitations,so I used the same colours and images.........but made the card bigger and added some rhinestones and pearls to represent precious stones.
Now my relay card was coming along nicely until I picked up a darker copic than I wanted and started colouring the bear.........arghhhh,so now my bear is darker than I wanted.Anyway I am getting used to the darker bear and am still happy with how it turned out.The Baby Boy ticket comes from Bizzy Becs Digi Store and you get a full A4 sheet of them with different sentiments, you just need to print and they are ready to cut.Must go blog hopping, enjoy your day/evening.

The Greeting Farm CHA Relay - Digi 2 and Happy Australia Day
Good morning and Happy Australia Day to all you Aussies out there in blogland.I hope you are enjoying your day,we don't do anything on these public holidays as my husband always has to work,we just have a nice quiet day at home.Anyway, here is the card I made with the second free image from The Greeting Farm,so far so good,I have been keeping up with the challenge.I am trying to keep the cards fairly simple so that I can get them done on time.I just had to give her sparkly eyeshadow, the idea came from Kristy and I thought it was so cute.Must go,I have some blog hopping to do and a card to make before the next relay image, thanks for stopping by.

The Greeting Farm CHA Relay - Digi 1
Good morning all,I have been following The Greeting Farm Blog for quite a while now and decided it was about time I entered into one of their challenges.Well, this is not one, it is for a whole week and I hope I haven't gotten in over my head.....lol....I had two days to do this first card so that was ok,but I think the rest of the cards are going to have to be simple so I can complete them in time. You still have time to enter and you get a free digi for each day,but you do have to upload your creation by a certain time to be able to move to the next day,you can see the details here.

This card is a recessed window card and my plans were to turn it into a shaker card, well it wasn't until I got to sticking the background down that I noticed there were gaps in the corners......lol......Well,I was going to give up and didn't,I made some corners(like photo corners) and covered the gaps,I was then able to add some sequins and chunky glitter. The background is a digi from Sassy Studio Designs,I am not completely happy with the colouring of the water, but I was not going to colour another one,I didn't realise how long it took to colour backgrounds....lol.... I still have to make my daughters birthday card, her birthday is not until the 27th, so I must make a start on that before the next relay card.Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.

The last of my Journals and another Christmas card
Good morning, here is the last of my journals, you won't see anymore of these at least for a while....lol.....And yes another Christmas card, thats all I have been making lately and I still have one more to do,then hopefully that is it.But I am thinking I will get an early start on them next year as I have been so rushed this year and its not much fun trying to create so many at the same time. This christmas card I cased from Laura at Scrapnextras she makes the most amazing cards.I changed it a little to have the baubles look like they are hanging from a tree, you can see Laura's card here. Now onto the journal,I love the colours in this, the Hydrangeas are from Bizzy Becs and there are so many beautiful colours available. The heart pearls are also from Bizzy Becs and are so pretty, they will be available soon.Must start my last Christmas card, have a good day.

Another Jacob Journal

Hello all,I am on a roll at the moment and trying to keep up with everything, but Christmas is not so far away and I still have 5 more of these journals to do.I now have my copics and I am so happy as this is saving me time.I am colouring my images in half the time it takes to colour with watercolour pencils, and to my surprise I started and finished this journal yesterday and I have already coloured my next image.............WOOHOO........

I am still practising with these copics, but I am still very happy with the results so far and what really helped was Rachels copic tutorials, thanks Rach.If you would like to check these tutorials out you can see them here and they are so worth having a look at.

I also went searching for a sketch and found one at Sketch Saturday that I thought would be perfect for this journal. So, I am entering this journal into Sketch Saturday challenge.

Must go have lots to do,enjoy your day.................I don't know that I will,it is going to be too hot for me over the next few days. Thanks for stopping by and for all of your encouraging comments.

A Christmas Card for Fun

Hello all,I got a chance to do a Christmas card just for fun........I received this image and many others from Sammi. Thanks so much Sammi, these are images I don't have and am having fun with.I love using my new goodies, though I don't always get the chance.I still have many new things I haven't even used yet......lol......and I know many of you are the same.I used a sketch for this card done by Bev for Create4Fun,I loved this sketch and just wanted to have a go at it.I decided not to do a square card this time and try to fit the sketch on a standard card, and it didn't turn out too bad.I have put puff paint on all the fluffy bits of the image and then added some stickles so it is sparkly,it is hard to see all the sparkle.....but it looks great IRL.Must go,still have many cards to make.Have a good day.
