Finally...........some cards!!!!

Hi all,wow another long time between posts and as much as I love to craft,I have realised that there are more important things in life...........and that would be my family. So crafting is not something I get to do often at the moment, but when I do I really enjoy it.Anyway a friend asked if I could make her some cards and these are the first of them and I was hoping that I would remember how to colour.....lol......I love how they turned out, considering it has been a while since I have made a card,so I am looking forward to making the other two.
Well best be off,I have my youngest home sick and I am hoping that I may be able to make the other two cards while she has a sleep.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi all, sorry this is a little late I should have posted it this morning.I am still busy with many things at the moment and well the heat is also taking its toll on me,I just can't stand to craft and sit at the computer, whenit is this hot.We have been having 35 degrees celsius and above since Monday and today it is 42...........and well I have totally had enough of this hot weather.I also have my MIL visiting tomorrow and she will be staying for dinner and a dear friend from Queensland will be here to stay for a few days,so this weekend we have also been busy cleaning and getting everything ready.I have also been trying to get some DT creations done, some of which are from Bizzy Becs new release which will be on the 18th February.I am still in the process of creating with these images and am loving it,just not happy with the heat....lol.....

Anyway, here is the next challenge from Bizzy Becs store blog and it is to follow a sketch,I do love a sketch challenge. Now the winner will receive 6 rubber stamps from the next new release.........and they are GORGEOUS you are going to love these ones too.So join in,you have a month to get your entry done and be in the running for these new images. All of my embellishments and image were purchased at Bizzy Becs. Well, best be off more cleaning and organising to do.I will have a break this evening and check what you have all been up to.Enjoy your weekend.

Bizzy Becs Challenge
Good morning all, well it's time for another Bizzy Becs challenge and as it is December and close to Christmas the theme is Christmas. So make anything you like as long as it is Christmas related and the prize for this month is a $20 goodie pack.I have used this gorgeous little singing Tilda on my card,I have had this image a while and this is the first time I have used it.The papers are K&Co Yuletide,I picked this 12x12 paper pack up at the craft show I went to two months ago.Included was 28 papers, some glittered and some foiled for the bargain price of $15,the original price was $33...............so I couldn't leave that behind.....lol.....The Magnolia poinsettia die,Magnolia leaf and swirl die,Spellbinder Nestabilties, gold pearl stems, yellow rhinestones and digi ticket were all purchased at Bizzy Becs. The digi tickets I purchased were the blank ones and I have just added my own sentiment. You really need to stop by the store blog and check out  what the DT have made.......their creations are stunning.Well an update,I didn't get on the treadmill last night and I can't believe I am still having trouble going up and down the stairs.........lol......Better go I have a few thimngs to do before we go out tonight. My sister in law is watching the girls for us, so I  need to do a little cleaning and finish cooking dinner for them so she doesn't have to worry about it.So if I don't get a chance to stop by today,I will stop by your blogs tomorrow.Enjoy your day.

Just Magnolia Challenge Week 77
Good afternoon,I hope you have all been enjoying the weekend.I made this card last night for my Aunty who is in hospital with liver cancer, she loves my handmade cards and she used to ask me to make them for her when she needed one........so I thought it was about time she got a special one.My Aunty loves animals so I thought this sweet Magnolia holding her cat would be perfect,I know she is going to love this.Elise a blogging friend has breast cancer, though it is a different cancer to my Aunties the effects on the people with it and their families is the same.I am holding a card drive for Elise and a blog candy,so if you have time to make a card for Elise that would be wonderful, you can see the details here.

I am going to enter this into the Just Magnolia sketch challenge and Copic Creations using your colourless blender.Sorry I was in a rush this afternoon to see my Aunty, I forgot to enter Copic Creations, hope it is ok now.I used my colourless blender on Tilda's top and skirt,I didn't have light enough colours,so I used the lightest possible and then used the blender pen.I have also used the blender pen on the cat, putting some grey for shading and blending it to a lighter shade and softening it.I also love removing any little mistake with it.

Well, enjoy the rest of your day.Shortly I will be heading off to visit my Aunty in hospital,so I will be back this evening to visit your blogs. Thanks for stopping by.

Bizzy Becs June Competition
Good morning,it's perfect crafting weather today..........cold and rainy. The only thing is I am still so tired, little miss got up again last night and it took a little while to get her back to sleep and we had to be up early this morning to take my eldest to school.Might have to have a cat nap later.Anyway Bec from Bizzy Becs is running another competition for her customers and this months theme is winter and you also have a choice of sketches to use,but you do not have to use the sketch. For my card I have used the very cute Magnolia snowman and lots of sparkle,I think I went a little overboard.......but I just couldn't help myself....lol.....I have edged all the cardstock and parts of the snowman in stickles, and the snowflakes have been covered in Twinklets Diamond Dust.......oh I love how it sparkles.Diamond Dust is finely ground glass and looks fabulous on your creations.Bizzy Becs does stock Diamond Dust and you can get it here. The snowflakes are cut from my spellbinder dies,I have also used a gorgeous lace doily and rhinestones all available from Bizzy Becs.To finish my card I used a digi ticket from Bizzy Becs digi store and I must say Christmas Sparkles was the most fitting digi ticket.

Now with Bizzy Becs competition there is also an awesome prize.......hmmmm wonder if I can enter....lol....This is what you could win and it is valued at $50,I am looking forward to seeing all your entries.

You have until the end of the month to enter and don't forget it is only for Bizzy Becs customers.Must go,thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.

WOOHOO...............I have received my Copics!!!
Good morning,I am so excited I finally received my copics and I have been playing.I wanted to show the difference between the copics and my watercolour pencils and the copics are definately more vibrant. This is my first attempt at colouring with copics and it didn't turn out too bad, though I do need alot of practice...............I did choose a simple image to colour,I made it easy on myself....lol....The face isn't that dark IRL,but I do want to get a couple of lighter skin colours as I got the ciao set and the lightest in the set is EOO.I have been colouring alot of digis lately, which is the reason I wanted copics..............colouring them with pencils takes a long time to build up the colour,as I do like my images vibrant. So anyway I made a card with this image and it had to be blue, well I realised while making this I don't have much in the way of baby blue,so I used my Stampin'Up! wheel.I am not completely happy with it,I might make another later on.
The cute little ticket sentiment you see is a Bizzy Becs Digi, which will be available in her digi store very soon.........don't you just love it!!! Bec has been busy making heaps of digi images to put into her new store and WOW they are awesome,so the store is going to have heaps of things for you to chose from.So keep an eye out,I will put up a post when the store is going to open. Thanks for stopping by.

Creatalicious Challenge #4 meets Magnolia Down Under
Good afternoon all,I hope you have been enjoying your weekend..............I have but it went way to quick,it is already 5.30pm Sunday here.Well it is time for another Creatalicious Challenge and we want to see you make something for Christmas, include snowflakes and lots of sparkle/glitter. I had fun with this challenge as I love Christmas and who doesn't love things that sparkle.I have covered Santa's trim with puff paint and then gone over it with diamond stickles, the snowflakes have been covered with Diamond Dust which is crushed glass(if you didn't know), and I am so amazed by the amount of sparkle this stuff has..........I LOVE IT!!! Thanks Bev for introducing it to me.Bec from Bizzy Bec's is going to be stocking Diamond Dust very soon,so keep an eye out and get you hands on some............you will love it.Trying to catch all that sparkle on a photo isn't easy, but you can see a slight sparkle on the snowflakes. This photo does not do the Diamond Dust justice though, you really need to see it IRL.
I have also entered this into the Magnolia Down Under challenge for this fortnight,I loved the sketch they had and it made it alot easier for me to get my card done.It has been quite some time since I have done a Magnolia Down Under challenge and I had alot of fun with it.
Thanks for stopping by.

Magnolia Baby Card
Here is the baby card I made the other day and decided this was not at all appropriate for a Christening, but perfect for a welcome baby card.I left the sentiment off,so it could be used for anything,my friend did decide to take this anyway and I put a Whiff of Joy sentiment on for her. This is similar to one I made a while ago and didn't even realise until I had finished it.I hope you are enjoying your weekend,I have a kitchen tea apron card to show you next. Thanks for stopping by.
