Hi all, thankyou for hanging around, even though I don't get to blog as much these days.Well alot has happened over the last few weeks and the above jewellery is what I made for my youngest daughter for her school, for a Mother's Day stall. The cards I made as card packs to give to my daughters kindy class,so that they could put them together and give to their mum's on Mother's Day.The 50th card was made for a friend who had a 50th birthday to attend, the photo was taken with my phone so it is not as clear as I would have liked.I also had 4 teeth removed on Wednesday, well I was a little worried before going in but all seems good now,not much swelling and only a small bruise on one side.I still can't eat properly and I am so over that,I can't wait to eat a proper meal. And,I am hoping that all will be good for the end of the month as we are having a girls weekend at the Crown Casino in Melbourne...........so looking forward to that.Well off to get organised for tomorrow, have a wonderful evening all.

A card, jewellery and our kitten named Lilly.......
Hi all, well another long time between posts,my youngest started school on Monday and she seems to be settling in well.I am a little tired at the moment and still trying to get into some sort of routine.I drop the girls off, then head off to the gym, when I get home I tidy up a little, get lunch, play with our kitten Lilly(who BTW wants lots of attention at the moment....lol....) and then it is time to pick the girls up.
Anyway, moving on,the card was a commissioned card and they wanted a simple Wedding card in lilac and this is what I ended up with.I wasn't sure of it at first, but it grew on me and the recipient loved it.
The jewellery I also made a while ago,I had no idea what I wanted to make so decided to play around with the beads and these are what I ended up with.
Now last but not least, our little kitten we named Lilly,we picked her up from the RSPCA on Sunday. We were going to get a kitten in a few weeks time for our girls but decided that our youngest needed her now,as we thought having a kitten might help her to settle into school and communicate with the teachers and other children. Our youngest is very quiet and doesn't like to talk to anyone, well the fist day of school she said to the teacher "I have a kitten"......lol......and she then told the teacher all about her kitten.Lilly is only 10 weeks old and so tiny, even the kitten collar she is wearing is a little too big.The bed she is in is the smallest I could find, and it is not very big either.
Time to go,I am off to pick the girls up shortly and need to disturb poor lilly, who is sleeping on my lap at the moment.Well, enjoy your afternoon.

Creatalicious Challenge #26
Hi all,I am back with my Creatalicious challenge card, sorry I did not get it posted yesterday.I was busy all day and you are all probably all thinking I should not be busy anymore, well not so.....lol.......I have my MIL for dinner this evening, little miss has a birthday party tomorrow afternoon and in the evening I have another fundraiser show to attend, and then my friends may be visiting on Sunday. And, to top things off I decided to add to my crafting habits...........jewellery making.I have been wanting to make jewellery from quite some time now and haven't because of the time factor, well after seeing the gorgeous jewellery donated to Lyndall's fundraising,I just couldn't help myself......lol......OMG my poor husband,so I now scrapbook and recently digital scrapbooking, cardmaking and jewellery making.Hmmmmm maybe I need to change the name of my blog or add to it.I went to my first jewellery making class yesterday and absolutely had a ball, thanks to the lovely girls at Get Beaded,we made 5 gorgeous bracelets with different techniques for beginners.Later that evening I made another 3 bracelets,OMG I think I am hooked......lol......I will show some of the pieces either later today or tomorrow.
Anyway back to my card,I did get a little sidetracked,I made my card for a dear blogging friend whose husband is not very well, I just wanted to help make him smile and let him know that many people do care and that I am thinking of them.I found this card a little challenging to begin with, but when I got started that was it,it all came together.I still have a little trouble embellishing male cards,as I have hardly any male embellishments, but I am happy with the end result. For our Creatalicious challenge this month the theme is "Anything Goes" now how easy is that.I hope to see many of you joining us this month. Well best be off, will be heading to the gym shortly, then need to make some more jewellery and cards.........lol........Thanks for stopping by.

Craft Day with Friends Making Mothers Day Cards
Hi all, well Saturday I had a craft day with my friends, which I mentioned in a previous post......they wanted to come over and make Mothers Day cards. So,Friday I was busy cleaning and making these cards for them to copy,my friends don't colour images when they occasionally craft.I wanted them to experience the fun of colouring and remembered seeing this colouring technique while blogging on quite a few blogs,I knew they would be able to make these,so I made 4 different ones for them. They loved the cards and had so much fun making them, they said that no one would believe that they made them.........so they popped a handmade by stamp on the back and wrote their names on them. The design for these cards were cased from Sandi MacIver, she makes the most gorgeous cards with these images, though I have changed them a little and also used brighter colours.I did enjoy making these,so you may see some more cards with these images in the future.Well I best go,it's already 1:15am and I need to start getting to bed at a more reasonable time.Enjoy your week.

More Punch Art
Good morning all,I have been having fun with some punch art the last few days and this is another I have been wanting to try.I have seen a similar card on a blogging buddies blog Kez at KB Papercraft, she makes wonderful Stampin'Up! cards. The scene from my one did come from someone else who went to a Stampin'Up! regionals meeting, but I can't give credit as they did not put their name on it.Mine is a little different though,I cut the grass with my silhouette, used the cuttlebug swirls embossing folder for the sky and put little googly eyes on the sheep.....just love that they move....lol....You can also see similar punch art cards at Splitcoaststampers here, you will have to go through alot of pages, but there are so many ideas on punch art.....have fun looking. Thanks for stopping by.

A Little Punch Art
Hi all,I'm back with some punch art and I loved making this little cutie.I have been wanting to make this card for months now and I finally did it.I saw this card on my blogging buddies blog 1,2,3...EasyPC and I just fell in love with it,just too cute for words.I am not sure who originally came up with this little sweet pea,but you can also see it here on Andrea Walford's blog and it also includes a tutorial.BTW the joys of casing cards,I love it that they are so quick to make, the brainwork is all done for you....lol.....Mine is a little different,I have added some little peas to the vine using 3d foam and I have also used the 3d foam on the head.Well that's it for today off to do some hopping and creating.......thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Cards
Hi all,I have been busy catching up on my chrissy cards after getting all my DT work done,so the next few posts will be dedicated to Christmas cards. Here are two of them, the first was done using a free image from Leaves of Time, the images are fabulous and very old fashioned.........so if you like this style it is well worth a look. The brad, charm, flowersoft and digi ticket are all available at Bizzy Becs. The second card is a case of a Stampin'Up! demonstrator Marelle Taylor,I loved the look of her cards and wanted to give it a go.Marelle made 3 cards and I have combined the ideas from 2 of them to make this card. The dove is covered in glitter, but it is hard to see,I did have trouble taking a photo of this one.Well must go,I have to read to my little girl, enjoy your evening.

Creatalicious 3d Challenge
Good morning all, another autopost and hoping it works, the school holidays will be over in a few days and all will be back to normal. Its time for a Creatalicious challenge and this month it was set by our wonderful DT member Penny she wants you to
"Show Some 3D - this can be anything ( a box, paper tole, bag...etc... the possibilities are endless...)"
I was running out of time to get my creation done so I had to combine this challenge with a card that a friend wanted me to make for them. And yes,it is another baby shower card.....lol....The mum to be has decorated the baby room in bright colours with an underwater theme.I found it difficult to make this at first,as I kept thinking baby shower and couldn't get over bears, stars, pastel colours etc.....lol.....So I had to get baby shower out of my head and just do a fish card, this is the end result.I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.Now the 3d part on my card is the two fish and starfish are popped up on 3d foam,I have also added some stickles to the fish and the seaweed. So come on over and check out the gorgeous DT creations and enter your own creation........we would love to see what you come up with. Thanks for stopping by.

Bloomin' with Beauty Sympathy Card
Good afternoon,I am back with a Stampin'Up! card,I haven't made one of these in a while. The girls at the gym asked if I would make a sympathy card for them and this is what I came up with.I tend to use Stampin'Up! stamps for these sort of things,as I like the classy elegance of them.........which I think is perfect for these sort of cards. This card was inspired by Teneale Williams, she makes the most gorgeous Stampin'Up! cards,so if you are looking for some inspiration.......then you need to have a look at Teneale's blog. The inspiration for this card came from here. I coloured the flower with my re inkers on watercolour paper, as I wanted it to be the same colour as the cardstock and I didn't have a matching copic colour.I don't like colouring this way and I am not very good at it,so lucky the flower isn't that big.I have also edged the white papers in stickles, just to give a slight sparkle. Its something I wouldn't normally put on a sympathy card, but I wanted a pretty card.
I am sure I told you a few posts ago my youngest was sick, well she is still sick and has been coughing through the night and we have been getting very little sleep. We took her to the doctor yesterday and she has been put on the nebuliser, anyway she had it at 3pm yesterday afternoon and the little bugger was all wired up until 12.30am when she finally feel asleep. Then she woke up at 2 or 3 can't exactly remember,I was half asleep and then I had to try and get her back to bed.So, I have been napping today to catch up on some much needed sleep.Anyway, must go and get her on the nebuliser again..........will be back shortly to see what you have all been up to.Thanks for stopping by.

Mojo Monday #135
Good afternoon,I had to make a sympathy card for a dear friend of mine, her father passed away a week ago.I wanted to make it classy, yet simple and I didn't want any flowers.I don't usually make cards with just sentiments on the front, but I am pleased with the end result. This is such a sad time for anyone and there is nothing you can say to make it all go away, but I know my friend will appreciate this and know that I am thinking of her.Sympathy cards are always hard to make so I headed for Mojo Monday to help me with this one and the sketch was perfect.Well off to do some cleaning, catch up with you all later.

Wild RoseGood evening all, thankyou so much for your thoughtful and caring comments on my last post,it is much appreciated. It is wonderful being able to share the love of craft with you all and the best thing is that you all completely understand where I am coming from.Well, onto my card, this is another card that is going to be sent to our troops. As I said in my last post,I am keeping them simple so I can get quite a few done.I have used one of my favourite Stampin'Up! sets for this card called Wild Rose and I know I am not going to part with this one.I have cut the rose and leaves out and just glued them down in the centre,so they still have some dimension.I really love how this turned out and I am feeling a little more relaxed knowing I am getting some cards completed in a short space of time.If you would like to join me in making some Mother's Day cards for our troops you can check out the details here.Have a wonderful evening and thankyou again for your encouraging words.

Good afternoon,I do have a card to show today,my husband called me from work late yesterday afternoon and asked if I could make an Anniversary card for a friend to give his wife. The card needed to be ready to take in this morning,so I had to get this done quickly.I was up late to finish it as I did have to go out,but I did resort to a sketch to make things easier for me.The sketch I used was from Friday Sketchers, I wasn't sure about this sketch at first, but I did end up doing lots of layers and I am really pleased with how it turned out.I do love this stamp set and always get inspired by Chris, everytime she makes a card with it.Well must go and catch up on some blogs and then make my daughters birthday cake. Thanks for stopping by.

Zig Zag Railway and a Quick CardGood evening,I was unable to get a card done today but I do have one to show.I had to make a very quick card Friday night as I needed it for Saturday,so I went back to the tusty Stampin'Up! stamps,I always use these when I need a card in hurry. The picture isn't the best, as I took it without the flash to show you the border and image have been popped up with foam tape. This is probably the quickest card I have ever made,it took me about 20 minutes,I don't think I will ever break that record....lol...Today we took the girls to the Zig Zag Railway Lithgow Blue Mountains and wow what a beautiful day it was. There were clear skies and it wasn't too hot,it was however windy and even though it doesn't look like it the wind got quite cold at times. We saw Thomas the tank engine and we went for a ride on one of the old Steam trains, luxurious as well, the first class cabins have been well looked after and it even had a lounge area.Well going to catch up on your blogs, enjoy your week.
