Friday Sketchers Challenge

Good morning,this is the card I fininshed yesterday for the Friday Sketchers Challenge..........I saw Claudia's sketch on Tracey's blog and had to enter,it is so different and I just loved it,thanks Claudia.Well this is what I came up with,I used Bizzy Bec's new leaf images which are not available just yet,but I think they look fantastic.This leaf looks like it is floating,love the effect.These are old Basic Grey papers,I just had to use them to make a pretty card,I have also used some Twinkling H2o's on the leaves to brighten them a little and give them a bit of sparkle.Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

Bizzy Becs New Stamp Range - Sneak Peek

Good evening all,I have been working on a card with Bizzy Becs new images.Bec sent me some images to work on to see what I could come up with and if they would be good enough to be used with other images.They are still being worked on a little,so are not available just yet.........but I love them.What do you think? They work beautifully with this Gorjuss Girl and would work just as well with many other images.They are really easy to colour,the leaves on this card were going to be placed in the gap between the flowers,but I cut the wrong side......aghhhh......and the leaves would have come off the edge.So, I had to cover the end flower and I am still pleased with the end result.......see we can still get great results after a mistake,and I didn't want to colour it all over again......lol......After colouring,I added some Twinkling H2o's to the leaves and flowers looks so pretty IRL.Have a good evening and thanks for stopping by.

Sugar Bowl - Sketch Challenge

Good evening,wow I finally finished my card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge,my little girl has been very clingy and it is very hard to make a card while she is sitting on my lap.....lol....The thing I find amazing is she loves looking at these cards and if I stop she says "make your card".....lol......I have a feeling this one is going to be my card making buddy,the eldest is not that interested.Anyway,I did go off the subject.I loved the Sugar Bowl sketch and really enjoyed putting this card together and listening to the song on their blog......I love it....lol....,you also had to add buttons to your card to be in the running for the prize.I am really pleased with how this turned out and I love this K & Co Blue Awning range,I wish I had purchased more.I received this image from my friend Bec,thanks Bec I really loved colouring this.The rose is also from Bec and they are gorgeous,I will be getting more of these they are so pretty and come in beautiful colours.Thanks for stopping by.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

Good morning,wow another challenge for me......I am so pleased I have done quite a few challenges this week,I love doing the challenges they are so much fun.This card was made for the Sugar Bowl challenge,you have to make something a mother would love and use a Sugar Nellie stamp.This Sugar Nellie stamp named Kitty was stamped for me by Bizzy Bec.....thanks Bec this is just the sweetest image and I loved colouring her in.I coloured the image with my blending stumps and odourless solvent.I then went over it with a little water to brighten the colours,the Derwent Inktense seem to be a little more vibrant when they are mixed with water.I really love how this turned out,well its getting late and I am getting tired,thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Card for my Darling Daughter

Today is my eldest daughters birthday she turned 11,and where have all the years gone I told her she has to stay this age and not grow up anymore.....LOL.....Happy Birthday my darling.This is the birthday card I made for her,the image was given to me by my friend at Bizzy Becs it is a Sugar Nellie image from the Sweet Art Ebony range and the name is Sweet & Sassy.I love these images they are so sweet and look so pretty when coloured.Well back to school tomorrow and I just need to get a few more things ready, so I will be back tomorrow with another card.Have a good evening.

A Different Valentine
