Stamped Candle
Hi there,I decided to show you a stamped candle today,it was started a few months ago and I got sidetracked so it was never completed.Today I decided it was time to complete it.I just purchased a cheap candle from the $2 shop and some tissue paper, you stamp your desired image onto your tissue paper,I have used the retired Roses in Winter. You then just cut around the whole image and place it on the candle where you want it,I have used some baking paper (you can use wax paper) to wrap around the candle so you can hold the tissue paper in place. You use your heat gun to go over the whole image and you should start to see it going clear, make sure you move the heat gun slowly over the image and not to close to the candle, you may overmelt it and the candle may not stay smooth. When finished keep holding the candle and let it cool a little, then remove the baking/wax paper slowly.Once completly cooled you can add all of your embellishments,I have just added some ribbon and a jewel.Sometimes it is hard to explain,so if you don't understand here is the splitcoaststampers tutorial.Happy crafting, why not try one they are so much fun.
Stamps - Stampin'Up! Roses in Winter and reason to smile(both retired)
Paper - Tissue Paper
Ink - Stazon Jet Black, Stampin'Up! Pretty in Pink,Rose Red,Always Artichoke,Old Olive and Bashful Blue
Accessories - Butterfly Jewel and Stampin'Up! Pretty in Pink grosgrain Ribbon
