Day 5 Sweet Love Collection - Fairy of Love

Well, it's day 5 and the last image of the collection to show and how sweet is this fairy.When I started to colour my image these are the colours I had in mind,the only problem was that I realised after I had finished I did not have any papers this colour............arghhhh.So my last chance was to check out some digi papers I had and my gosh these can be lifesavers.........lol.........These digi papers are actually free ones I found and you can get them here.The digi ticket is a freebie from Miss Cutie Pie.

Day 4 Sweet Love Collection - Love Letter

Day 4 and another GORGEOUS image to show you.I felt the urge to make something different for a change,most of the time I only ever really have time for cards...............so I made the extra effort to get a box drawer done with an easel card attached to the top.You can get the tutorial for the drawer box here and the easel card here,you will have to change the measurements of the easel card so it fits the top of the box.The digi tickets I used are a freebie from Miss Cutie Pie and gosh these are so very beautiful,you really need to check them out.

Creatalicious Challenge #18

Hi all,I am so sorry I have not been here in over a week,I have been busy and had alot of things that had to be done straight away.Anyway I am back and have a lot of catching up to do.I have just finished the Creatalicious challenge post and thought I'd better put my post up.
This month's challenge is all about the Ribbon - create something that shows some Ribbon. Make it a LOVE theme. 

I didn't have alot of time left to do my creation,so I decided to paint a chipboard heart with gold and use some crackle medium to get a crackle effect.Then when dry I sprayed some gold glimmermist over it.The tickets are freebies from Miss Cutie Pie,you really need to check these out,they are gorgeous.I couldn't get a good photo of this,so the top photo was taken with a flash and shows the gold and the bottom photo without a flash so you can see the dimension.Well it is very late here and I am really tired,will start catching up with you all in the afternoon.

Hi all,Happy Valentines Day!!! I made this card for my husband,the image is from Karen's Doodles and I had to have it,it reminded me so much of my husband with that look on his face....lol....I am entering this card into Saturday Spotlight.The challenge is to use household items on your creation...but NOT a craft item! Use safety pins, dryer sheets, household cleaners, paper clips for doing a technique or using as an embellishment.I have used cooking twine,a staple and I think buttons are ok as they were initially a clothing item,but if not I still have the others.Must go,going to tidy up a bit more and then start on a dinner for my hubby,he went to work this morning before we all woke up and is due home soon.I will pop by and visit you all later this evening,I hope you are all enjoying Valentines Day with your loved ones.

I survived the Slumber Party!!!

Hi all,I made it through the slumber party Friday night......lol.......though very exhausted.On the Thursday night I didn't get to bed until 4 am, I was doing some last minutes things and finishing the pirate cake.I knew I wouldn't be able to get it done as I had to pick two of the girls up at 10.30am that next morning.The girls were really well behaved and spent most of their time in the pool,they went to bed at 2.00am Friday night and I got to bed about 2.30am,just to make sure they were all asleep.....lol.....On Saturday all but one of the girls were picked up by 11.30am and I had the last one until 4.00pm.Both Friday night and last night I tried to get on the computer to check out some of your blogs and I kept dozing off,I never do that.....lol.....I did sleep in until 11.30am this morning,I was so very tired,it all caught up with me.I still feel a little bit tired,but I think I should be fine by tomorrow and all caught up on sleep.

Anyway,I did mange to make this card yesterday afternoon.I need to make a few Valentines Day cards and I decided to make one using this cute little image from Karen's Doodles.I just love Karen's images and the detail is amazing.I have purchased a few of Karen's images and can't wait to use them.The one I used on this card was my free image.Karen is giving all who follow a free image of their choice until February 1st,you can check out the details here,read all the posts so you can get the correct email address.To get this image Karen wants you all to stay followers,which I think is very fair,besides its not cool to follow for the free image and then stop following........so please be considerate.I used last weeks sketch from Sketch Saturday to make this card,I knew I wouldn't make the challenge but I loved the sketch and wanted to use it.The gorgeous flowers are from Bizzy Becs,I love these flowers.I also got the leaf punch from Bizzy Becs,but I need to check if she is still stocking them.Well,I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.We have had a nice cool change today and its perfect for cardmaking.Thanks for stopping by.
