Fuzzy Bear Baby Shower Card

Hi all,a busy weekend again, cleaning, having friends for dinner and uploading new goodies to the Fundraising for Lyndall online store. I have also put some prizes up in the digi section, check it out here. The card is the one I mentioned in the last post,I used this GORGEOUS Fuzzy Bear image I got for free from Tracy Wray.It was so easy to use and I did print an extra to make it 3d.Tracy is an amazing lady and so very talented, she contacted me wanting to help Lyndall,so she sent me some digi images that she made to sell in the store.Tracy also makes digital coloured images and paper piecing with GSD files that she puts to disc and sells.........the scrapbook pages Tracy makes with these images are nothing short of amazing. You can see Tracy's work here and she also has free files. If you are going to download Tracy's free files, please do the right thing and follow her blog.
I have also received some more parcels, thankyou so much to all you wonderful crafters that have sent these parcels, every little bit will help Lyndall and her family and they appreciate your help very much.
Now onto that yummy pie you can see, this is the dessert I made for last nights dinner,it is a festive mixed nut pie..................and WOW it was good.I still have some left, hmmm what a shame many of you don't live close....lol....Well best be off, still have a few photos to upload to the store, will catch up with some of you tomorrow afternoon.

3D Flower Card
Good afternoon all, sorry I have been missing for a while. To cut a long story short,I have been staying up way to late since having to make all those Christmas cards and invitations back in November and it finally caught up with me.I also had the slumber party, school things to organise, was going to the gym for about an hour a day and trying to blog and make challenges on time,oh and don't forget all the housework etc.........all on 4 to 5 hours sleep a night.I still have my nephew's scrapbook album to do and I am in the process of making my dear friends Wedding invtations,45 of them(when she chooses out of the 3 designs I sent).I was getting so tired,I couldn't craft my brain was just blank......lol.....and my mojo went on holiday.I have decided I need to just do what I can for now and make sure I get a good sleep each night,I am still tired but not as bad as I was.Anyway, enough about me I made this card for the blog Top 50+ Cardmaking Blogs in Australia, they are asking if we could make Mother's Day cards to send to our troops overseas so they can post home to their mums.I thought it was a really nice idea, so I am in the process of making some cards, they are going to be fairly simple so that I can get a few done.I have popped each of these flowers up on 3d foam and it looks so much prettier IRL.If you would like to send some cards, check out the details here.

3D Mermaid
Hi everyone, thanks for all the well wishes, little miss is back to her old self again.........she must of had a 24hour virus and I am so glad it is over.I got to make a simple card last night, that is all I had time for. I am pleased with how it turned out,I will show that Monday.I visited one of my new followers yesterday Beccy and she does the most amazing paper tole pictures, you can check her blog here .It got me thinking that I hadn't done a paper tole card in a while,I love paper tole but the cutting gets to me sometimes.......lol.......(I am the lazy paper toler). The one I have to show you today was purchased about a year ago and it is pre cut, you've got to love that. This is what I ended up with and I love it,it was nice to do something different for a change.I have used two Stampin'Up! sets to make the seaweed and covered them in clear embossing powder, the paper tole has three layers and I have used Tattered Angels gold glimmermist for the background. It is so much prettier in person, but you do get the idea. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget Magnolia Down Under has a new challenge starting tomorrow.

Martini Glass
Hello again, here is today's card a Martini glass.I was asked to make 5 cards with Martini glasses and thought.......what am I going to do.There are not many Martini glass stamps around, Stampin'Up! has one available on the 1st April, but it is a bit small for what I wanted.I had seen a Martini glass made, like the cocktail one I did a few posts ago......but couldn't remember where I had seen it so I went ahead and made my own.It is quite simple,it is based on the one over at Splitcoaststampers, you just use triangles to get the Martini glass shape.I have kept the layout much the same as the cocktail card,as the glasses fill most of the card there is not alot of room left after you add the sentiment(and it does make it easier to do 5 cards).I was also given a different colour combo for each of the cards,so that made choosing the colours easy. For the olive I used the small Stampin'Up! oval punch, inked the edges and put a small cross at the top with a black pen........I then attached it to a party cocktail pick. Thanks for stopping by.

Paper Tole Valentine
Good evening everyone,I have a paper tole card for you tonight.I did promise to post one of these a while ago,but have only just been able to make one.I have to be in the cutting mood for these cards as they can take up alot of time depending on the image. The last time I made a paper tole card,I got a lot of requests for them, well I think that is why I haven't made one in a while I got sick of cutting them out.......LOL......This is one I found that had been cut out by my husband,he accidently cut off one of the anntenae so I had to chop the other off and draw my own on.As you can see I am not a very good drawer........LOL......looks like this is going to be my husbands Valentines card,he usually takes one from my stash to give me........LOL.......We don't really do anything for Valentines Day as our Anniversary is on the 18th.You can see that the image is layered just at the top of the head,I have used black Kindyglitz on the bug and some gold Valentines stickers.I have a heap of these stickers,I bought them before I got Valentines stamps.Wow no stamping involved, I wish you all a beautiful Valentines Day with your loved ones. Thanks for stopping by.

3D Flower Card
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was good to you.I did make a card, yes on Christmas day and the feedback from my two and a half year old........Oh beautiful mummy.Well the family were all playing with their new toys so I decided I wanted to try mine out,I got a really comfortable chair for my craft desk.I was using a spare dining chair, now they will never see me......LOL.......The card shown is one I made a while ago,I was having trouble taking a photo of the one I made,so I will photograph it outside in the morning in better light. This card is really quick and easy to make, the flowers are from the K & Co 12x12 cardstock flower pad.The pad has 578 pieces and you can use it for all your craft needs,I just popped the flowers out and layered them with foam squares for dimension then added Kindyglitz and a brad Rhinestone for the middle.I will be back in the morning with the Whiff of Joy card.
