Anything But A Card at Bugaboo
Hi all, firstly I need to apologise for all the posts you did have in your google reader.I updated some of my labels to include Christmas,Birthday etc so it is easier to find things. And yes,I am at it again I have changed my blog background......there are so many nice ones around I just like to look at something different....lol.....Now onto my creation and as you can tell it could not be a card,so as I am behind in my scrapbooking I decided to do a scrapbook page.I have used another Inspired Blueprints sketch,(though it is an old one)I love these sketches and I might just be able to catch up on my scrapbooking,if I keep using them.I have also used one of the Flower Bears from Bugaboo and made it look like she is peeking out from behind all the flowers. You cannot see,but I have also covered the pink flower hat in stickles,it is so pretty IRL.Well thats it for now, enjoy your week.

Creatalicious Challenge #10
Good morning all,all I can say is yeahhh its the weekend and I can't believe we are up to Creatalicious challenge #10, time flies when you are having fun. This week Kylie set the challenge and she has decided we are going to -

"Take a trip to the Orient - Asian Themed"

I decided to do another scrap page for my nephew and his gorgeous girlfriend, and lucky for me the photos they wanted me to start with were Japan. So I took advantage of this and did some more pages for their album. They want to keep the album simple and I have also decided not to overembellish with flowers,my nephew said "he could handle some flowers but not too many".....lol......So I think the clean and simple look for them would be best,I am also using some bits and pieces they saved from the trip to add to the album.I love the black and red theme on this one,it really does give it that oriental feel.I purchased the lantern from the QuicKutz online store and cut them with my silhouette,I then added Bizzy Becs gorgeous rhinestones to bling them up a little.I am having alot of fun using my silhouette and WOW its saves so much money on scrapbooking..........what's not to love about that.I am really pleased with how this page turned out,I think I achieved that clean simple look I was after.............giving the photos centre stage.Don't forget to check out the other beautiful DT creations, you are sure to be inspired.

Well I must go,I won't be able to catch up with you all until sometime Sunday,my youngest is having her birthday party today and I will be busy with that. And I expect a dear friend that will be there as well, to stay quite late, there is always gossip to catch up on....lol.... So enjoy your weekend, will be back Sunday.

Creatalicious Challenge #9
Good evening all,I am so sorry I have been missing again.I received a call last night from my sister, she needed to get to a Doctors appointment at Westmead hospital.Short story, she has just had a baby, her tooth had to be removed and the swelling did not go down. She went into hospital again, got it drained while being discharged she had a fit and she is now not allowed to drive for 6 months. And OMG what a nightmare to park,we had money for parking but the boom gates only took coins and we only had notes............arghhhhhh.I dropped her off and went to find parking, well guess what.........NONE in sight. All the side streets were full,I drove around and around for about 40 minutes until she came out...........what a way to get the stress level up.Anyway came home exhausted, but everything is ok at the moment.

Ok now that I have waffled,I can finally post my Challenge creation.Another month has gone by and it is time for Creatalicious Challenge #9 and we want to see you Create Something with Flowers and Wings - both need to be on the creation. I love making cards, but really needed to get some more scrapbooking done and this is what I came up with.

Don't forget that Bugaboo's challenge and Blog Hop are still going, you still have time to enter and be in with a chance at winning some Bugaboo digi's.You can see my post that is included in the hop here. Thanks for stopping by.

Challenge Time at Bugaboo and a Blog Hop
Yes it's that time again, challenge time at Bugaboo and you have to make sure your creation has a BUG on it.It can be on the ribbon, papers, embellishments or even images that have a BUG on them............it's up to you. This is also a blog hop challenge and the whole team is on board. Now if you started here on my blog, please go back and start here at the challenge blog. Now if you are joining in on the hop,you should have arrived here from the fabulously  talented Sandy's blog. Here is the creation I made for the challenge,I decided on a scrapbook page and it just shows how versatile digi's can be........I hope you like it.There is quite a bit of sparkle on this page, but I couldn't pick it up as I had to turn the flash off......it was flashing back on the photo. The little Bugaboo image has black glitter on the black parts and the butterflies and circle have glitter on them.....it does look pretty IRL.

One lucky commentor from my blog will win a Bugaboo digi and there are also lots of prizes up for grabs if you join in on the challenge.I am sorry but there is NO LETTER to collect from here, your next stop on the hop is Marilyn she has a beautiful creation for you.

My Precious Little Girl
Good morning all, sorry I have been missing a while.I hope you all had a very happy Easter and enjoyed the time with your families. With Easter just finishing and the school holidays here,I have been spending some time with my girls. I will be posting and creating, just not as much in these 2 weeks of  holidays.Sometimes crafting takes over your life and you don't realise how much you are missing out on with your children, they grow so fast and it's time you will never get back............so enjoy it while you can.Which is what I intend to do.I will be trying to get some scrapbooking pages done in between cards,as my scrapbooking has slipped back again and I have so many photos that need to be scrapped.I used on old Prima sketch for this page and I am also trying to incorporate a bit of stamping in each LO now......a little bit of experimenting and some fun.I love how this page turned out and that dusty pink is beautiful,I think of vintage when I see this pink.Well off to blog hopping and to see what I have missed over the last few days. Thanks for stopping by.

First Scrapbook Page for my Nephew
Hi all,I don't have a card for you today,my nephew and his girlfriend gave me their first lot of photos to scrap,so I thought I should get started. They want me to scrapbook all of their holidays and so far they have been to Japan which is what I am scrapping now,New Zealand and they are in New York as I post this, and I think they have been somewhere else but I can't remember. So I have a huge job ahead of me,they are only 23 and are already jetsetters....lol....I made a little mini chipboard album of his 21st and gave it to him and he loved it,which is why I am now scrapbooking his holidays. They want simple pages, which I think I have achieved and I don't want to make it to girly.........so I have to go for an in between look as it is for both of them.I have also made a pocket behind the DP, to store the brochures and bits they collected and the brochure also doubles as a title. The leaf DP is a free digi from Jak Heath and it works perfectly with these colours,I chose these colours to match the castle........the roof tiles are green and it has alot of ornate gold work on it.I have used some gorgeous square gem brads for the centres of the flowers.I did follow a sketch but I can't remember where I got it,I think most of their album will be sketches so I can get it done. The page does look so much nicer IRL.I will try to do cards in between, but I hope you also don't mind looking at the scrap pages when I haven't done any.....if he lets me show their picture....lol....Thanks for stopping by.

Oh That Face
Good afternoon,I have no cards today........I am getting bogged down with lots of card orders....lol....I still have the 50 Christmas cards to do,about 20 birthday invites and about 20 baby shower invites with matching name tags and raffle tickets etc you get the idea.I need to have them finished by the end of October,I am not panicking........lol.......Yeah right.I know I will get them done I just need to pace myself and take no more orders for now....lol.....So anyway,I thought I would share another of my favourite scrapbooking LO's,I just adore this sweet little face.........no matter how hard I tried to get my little munchkin to smile she would not,in a way I am glad she didn't,after printing the photo's I realised how precious she was here and so deep in thought. The flowers were stamped with the Stampin'Up! set Roses in Winter(now retired),I stamped them a few times and tore around them to make different sizes so they could be layered. After tearing them,I just crumpled them up and then flattened them out and that's it,the idea came from Karen at Luv to stamp,I really loved the card she made with these and I thought they would be perfect for a LO.Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day.

My Little Angel
Hello again,I didn't get to make a card today,I was catching up on some commenting, cleaning and shopping etc and will finish the rest later. Now I know many of you make cards and don't do scrapbooking, but I was so blown away by the beautiful comments on my last page,I decided to show another rather than nothing. They are professional photos I have been showing and all from the same day, they just have different props.......I couldn't help myself I had to get them all.
I have used Basic Grey Sugared DP and matching diecuts which I have popped up with foam squares. You can also just see the gold glimmermist I have sprayed onto the Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips and gold paper, and I just had to finish it off with Heidi Swapp ghost wings........she looks so cute with those little wings. Thanks for stopping by.

Way Out of My Comfort Zone
Good afternoon everyone,I have a scrapbook page to show you and showing it is way out of my comfort zone.I am a private person when it comes to showing my family scrap pages, they are something I have always kept hidden and was going to keep hidden. But the challenge blog Creatalicious Challenges Bec and I are running is for anything and everything, and we want everyone to feel welcome with whatever they create,so some of my posts will now consist of scrapbooking and some off the page projects and whatever I may do.I am so glad we set up this blog,as I did start out scrapbooking before making cards and have neglected it for far too long.I want my girls to have a family record, something they can look back on and say with fond memories,do you remember that.I have my family photos passed down to me,but I don't know who many of them in the pictures are and some photos are even missing and I know I will never get them back. The photo on this page is my now three year old munchkin, she was just past one when this photo was taken. The photo is not very good,I could not use the flash due to the flashback on the photo.......hopefully the photos will get better as I go along.Anyway,I hope you like it and this week I will have my last DT cards posted for Creative Inspirations and Magnolia Down Under. Thanks for stopping by.
