These boots are made for walking............are they? I love this Stamp it image,I was asked to do a card with shoes on it a while back and didn't have any images,so I purchased this from Stamp it called These Boots.Well,it didn't arrive in time and had to go with their second request.........I have had this stamp for months and thought I had better ink it up.I made this rose which everyone had been making a while back and have only just had a chance to use it now as well.I didn't have a six petal flower punch so Bec from Bizzy Becs sent me some die cuts to play with,thanks so much Bec.If you want to make one of these roses you can get the tutorial here.And if you like this image just check with Bec,she does sell Stamp it products.Thanks for stopping by.

Holden FJ Birthday Card

Good afternoon all,this is the birthday card I made for my husband,he likes Holdens and I remembered I had purchased this stamp a while ago and hadn't inked it,so I decided to use it.Now before you laugh at the colour of my car....like I did,this is the story of how the car became that colour.....lol.....I wanted to use Stampin'Ups! new Windsor Knot DP,I got everything out and started designing the card and then thought what colour am I going to do the car.White wasn't going to work and I didn't like the thought of brown,so decided on this colour.I was sure I had seen old cars this colour,but it didn't seem right so I looked on the internet for car colours....lol......and found the above picture,I couldn't believe it my car wasn't going to look silly after all.I told my husband he has the real deal.I used some glossy accents on the windscreen,headlights,bumper and hub caps.Thanks for stopping by.

Creative Inspirations - Something Hidden Challenge

Hi there time for another Creative Inspirations Challenge and the theme this time is something hidden,this weeks prize is a selection of embellishments......so start creating and join in, you've got to be in it to win it.I happened to see this only last week on a blog and was directed by that blog to a lady that had a tutorial and I decided that this was what I was going to make.It is very easy and just turns out beautiful.You could use it for Weddings,Engagements and Christenings...really whatever you like,you can also put money into it.If you would like to make one you can find the tutorial here.I do want to add some lace around the rim of the envelope,but I have to buy some the ones I have are too wide and not so delicate.The roses and hydrangeas came from Bizzy Becs.I couldn't add a rose to the insert it made it too bulky, so I settled for a Kaisercraft pearl,which still looks pretty.Before I forget,there are a few comedians amoung my blogging friends,you made me laugh with some of your pirate comments...lol...Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.

Time for a Boys Card

Hello everyone,well I finished all the cards I had to do and can hopefully get back into some kind of routine.I didn't make a card yesterday or today,the house needed a good clean. I put it off for as long as possible,wish it could be longer......lol......I would rather be making cards and I am sure you all feel the same.Anyway,this card may look familiar.My friends son loved the card I made with these papers and image a while ago,and wanted one the same...........so I used the same papers and image and changed the layout.I am pleased with how it turned out and he loved it,thats all that matters. Motorbike Birthday Card

Hi all,I hope you are having a lovely weekend........I am,it is just very busy and there is not enough hours in the day to get everything done.Today's card was made for my friends son,he just turned 13 and I am just lucky that I had an appropriate stamp.I am very pleased with how it turned out and the birthday boy thought it was awesome,which by the way put a smile on my face.I didn't think that children/teenage kids bothered about handmade cards,but how wrong was I, all the children that have received my cards always have something good to say about them.My 3 year old says about every card she sees "so preeetttty "even if I don't like it......lol......

Cuttlebug Be Inspired #19 - Emboss Acetate

Another challenge card from me today,I seem to be getting alot quicker at making my cards now.When I saw this challenge over at Cuttlebug Challenge I knew I wanted to make a wedding card.I have used gold shimmer cardstock which is hard to see and have also embossed the sentiment, with gold embossing powder.I have used the cuttlebug embossing folder set With Love to emboss the bottom of the acetate.I have also used my spellbinders oval nestabilities to cover the acetate and put on the inside of the card so you have a place to write your message. STAMP-IT Cool Chick

Hi there everyone,this is the birthday card I was talking about the other day.It is safe to post as the birthday girl does not go blog hopping.I love this colour combo,the only problem I had was that purple DP is really hard to find.I only had this purple DP by daisy bucket designs in my stash,so I had to use this. I didn't have any DP for the shade of green I chose,so this was not going to be easy.I knew that when I added the flowers and ribbon there was going to be alot more purple,so I chose to leave a larger green border.It has turned out much nicer than I expected.You can not see it very well but the shirt has been coloured with the atyou spica pen in clear and it really sparkles,and the 15th has had kindyglitz added to it.Have a relaxing evening.

STAMP-IT The Boys

I am back to share another male card with you,I love these STAMP-IT stamps,they are the sort of stamps my husband has been wanting me to get for male cards.....LOL.....The sticker image on the back of the stamp is also a colour guide to colouring and shading,which really helps when the image is as detailed as this one.I can colour images and do quite a bit of shading,but without the sticker on the stamp block I don't think I would have coloured this one as good,I am really pleased with how the colouring turned out.For this card I copied the colours and shading directly from the stamp.I hope you are enjoying my blog so far,so keep checking back there are still stamps I have not used yet.

STAMP-IT Surf's Up

A male card for you today,these are the ones we find more difficult to make.I think it is because there isn't as much available,it took me a while before I finally found some male stamps at STAMP-IT.I purchased a few of their male related stamps and will show you more of the cards when they are finished.It was a challenge making this card as I have two girls and rarely need to make male cards.I thought it was going to be difficult to colour this image,but it was alot easier than I thought.I have used kindyglitz on the top of the wave,then added some puff paint and finally some Dimensional Magic over the top.Chalk has been used around the image,this also highlights the embossing.Thanks for visiting.
