Creatalicious Challenge #18

Hi all,I am so sorry I have not been here in over a week,I have been busy and had alot of things that had to be done straight away.Anyway I am back and have a lot of catching up to do.I have just finished the Creatalicious challenge post and thought I'd better put my post up.
This month's challenge is all about the Ribbon - create something that shows some Ribbon. Make it a LOVE theme.

I didn't have alot of time left to do my creation,so I decided to paint a chipboard heart with gold and use some crackle medium to get a crackle effect. Then when dry I sprayed some gold glimmermist over it.The tickets are freebies from Miss Cutie Pie,you really need to check these out, they are gorgeous.I couldn't get a good photo of this,so the top photo was taken with a flash and shows the gold and the bottom photo without a flash so you can see the dimension.Well it is very late here and I am really tired, will start catching up with you all in the afternoon.

For a Debutante
Hello again, you wouldn't believe what I just did,I had just posted this card and then saw some drafts that I didn't need in the dashbord,so I deleted them. And this post was one of them......arghhhh.......I don't know why after I had posted it it came up as a draft......oh well gotta do it all again. This card was made for a friend whose niece is going to a debutante ball and she wanted a special card for her.So we decided I should  do an all white card, appropriate for the occasion don't you think? The flowers, spellbinder die and cuttlebug folder used were purchased from Bizzy Becs. There are two photos so you can see all of the detail,it was quite difficult capturing it all.I am going to enter this card into the following challenges
Well best get dinner done, will stop by later to see what you ahve all been up to.

Edit - Sorry everyone I forgot to say where I got the image,it is a Sassy Studio Designs image.

Wedding Invitations
Good afternoon,I am so sorry I have not blogged frequently over the last two weeks, there have been so many things happening over here. This is the Wedding invitation my friend decided on,it was based on a design by Jak Heath which you can see here.My friend requested pink, chocolate and white as the colours and also wanted butterflies.I tried to incorporate a little chocolate, but it was always too dark with the colours chosen and really took the elegance away from the card.....so we stuck with the pink and white.I have embossed onto a beautiful white shimmer cardstock and then scored two lines to finish the embossing off.It took me a while to quite some time to adjust the writing to fit into the space, and also align it so it was exactly where it needed to be.........but I finally did it. I love the effect printed directly onto the card,it looks so professional.I will also be printing the envelopes, making place cards and wishing well cards for the inside of the invitation..........so alot of work ahead. The beautiful white pearls came from Bizzy Becs.Well must go,I have some blog hopping to do and then get to the gym.Enjoy your week.

Creatalicious Challenge #6
Good morning all,are we ready for another challenge? Well, here are the requirements for this months challenge No stamped images, you can stamp sentiments and use punches, diecuts and stickers(anything as long as it is not a stamped image or a digi image). I had so many ideas for this challenge, but decided to go with this.I have used some flower soft wire and glue and then covered it in some flowersoft to make a small bunch of flowers. You can get the bouquet lace holders, I don't have any yet.........but will be fixing that very soon......lol.....I kept the card simple and I wanted it all white so the flowersoft wasn't hiding behind any patterned papers.I also popped some of the panels up with 3d foam. There is however one thing that is annoying me,my sentiment is crooked,I have such a messy desk I can't find my stampa-mi-jig.Even if my sentiment or image is out only slightly I can still see it and find it annoying....lol....So I must go looking for this little tool and hope I find it soon.Don't forget to stop over to Creatalicious Challenges and join in this month, while you are there have a look at the gorgeous DT creations the girls have done a brilliant job with their creations.Must go,thanks for stopping by.

More Christmas Cards
Hello all,I have been very busy the last two days.Yesterday my daughter had her High School orientation day which I thought only went for one hour.......silly me,it went from 9am - 12pm and then I had to do some grocery shopping. This morning we had to go to an assembly for my daughter and she received a gold award,we are so proud of her and for the rest of today I have been cooking and tidying a little for guests I will be having over tonight. So I will probably catch up with you all tomorrow, but I wanted to show you this card,it is so elegant and so quick to make.I originally saw this on Becca Feeken's blog Amazing Paper Grace and she is listed under overseas blogs I like to visit, if you want to have a look.I don't know if I have copied it exactly,I can't remember as I saw it quite a while ago,but I thought I would show you so you could have a go at making some quick Christmas cards.Well must go,thanks for stopping by.

Cuttlebug Birthday Card
I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend, this is a card I made about a year ago.So please excuse the photo, back then they were just for me to look back on designs, never dreaming I would start a blog. This card was made for a friends daughters birthday,I used my baby cuttlebug die set and paper pieced it.I had so much fun making this card,I even chalked her hair the same colour. The first thing I did was to cut the baby with a skin coloured cardstock,I then cut it again in the colour I wanted the jumpsuit and cut the jumpsuit out, then sticking it to the body using my Xyron sticker maker.I did have to cut the little hands again in skin colour so they could go on the top.You may notice that you can also put the bottle through the babies hands and into the mouth........isn't that just cute.Enjoy your weekend.

60th Birthday Soccer Card
A different card to show you today,I was asked to make a birthday card to represent an English Soccer(Football) Team.I wasn't sure where to start,I had no Soccer Stamps so the only other idea I had was to fold a shirt. So I used Cambria Turnbow's(another talented lady) shirt tutorial and tried to replicate the Soccer shirt, this is as close as I could get to the shirt and colours.I am pleased with how it turned out,my husband did help with one part, he has to draw and cut out the designs for the shirts,I am not very good at drawing. He does like to check out the designs and give his opinion some good, some not so good.........LOL.......Tomorrow I will post the Cricket card.Happy Crafting.
