Finally...........some cards!!!!

Hi all,wow another long time between posts and as much as I love to craft,I have realised that there are more important things in life...........and that would be my family.So crafting is not something I get to do often at the moment,but when I do I really enjoy it.Anyway a friend asked if I could make her some cards and these are the first of them and I was hoping that I would remember how to colour.....lol......I love how they turned out,considering it has been a while since I have made a card,so I am looking forward to making the other two.
Well best be off,I have my youngest home sick and I am hoping that I may be able to make the other two cards while she has a sleep.

Creatalicious Challenge #33..............

Hi all,firstly I wanted to say thankyou for all the lovely comments I received and I will get back to you all over the next couple of days.Well,little miss and I are finally better and I am slowly getting back into my crafting,I did make a commissioned Wedding card yesterday,but I had no time to take a photograph.I did however get to take a photo of the above commissioned card that I also combined with my DT duties over at Creatalicious.

A birthday card and yes more jewellery.........

Hello everyone,I am still busy, but trying to manage more blogging.Over at Creatalicious we have over 700 entries this month and OMG that is keeping me busy too....lol......what a fantastic amount of entries though............our highest yet.This card I made for my nephew a few months ago and it is him to a T......lol.......he likes to play his playstation,though I suppose like many teenage boys.I thought this image from Mo Manning was perfect and I really enjoyed colouring it.
The jewellery I made for my MIL,it was her birthday a few days ago.I used Swarovski 10mm AB crystals and they are the new ones 5328 which apparently replaced 5301.Well you should see the sparkle on these,they are just GORGEOUS.......though it was hard to take a photo of .Everything else I used is Sterling Silver,an expensive set to make but so worth it.........especially if you want a gift worth a bit more.Well,my MIL absolutely loved it,she wore it out for her birthday dinner and all you could see was this sparkle...lol....Well off to do some blog hopping and try to comment on as many Creatalicious entries as I can,then onto some cleaning.Thanks for stopping by,I really do appreciate the visits and comments.

Some more jewellery,a card and another prize.........

Well I'm back again,with some more jewellery,a prize and a card.The top bracelet was made at the class I attended,we used glass beads and glass pearls with 3 strands of wire.I love the three wire effect and did make a few others when I got home..........which I will show another day. The earrings are just something I did playing around,these will probably go to my daughters friend. The other bracelet is a simple glass pearl bracelet threaded onto elastic,just love the pretty colours.

Onto my card,I was asked to make a birthday card for an 18 year old boy and OMG I had no idea what I was going to do. Anyway, I found this image by Delicious Doodles and thought perfect.........and I didn't have to colour it either.

I also have another prize,so who is going to win this one.I will draw this by randomn org on Wednesday afternoon 21st September.All those that have purchased digis from the Fundraising for Lyndall store will be in the draw,you will also be in the draw to win the prizes already listed in the store, that will be drawn on 30th September.Good luck to you all.

Creatalicious Challenge #26

Hi all,I am back with my Creatalicious challenge card,sorry I did not get it posted yesterday.I was busy all day and you are all probably all thinking I should not be busy anymore,well not so.....lol.......I have my MIL for dinner this evening,little miss has a birthday party tomorrow afternoon and in the evening I have another fundraiser show to attend, and then my friends may be visiting on Sunday. And, to top things off I decided to add to my crafting habits...........jewellery making.I have been wanting to make jewellery from quite some time now and haven't because of the time factor,well after seeing the gorgeous jewellery donated to Lyndall's fundraising,I just couldn't help myself......lol......OMG my poor husband,so I now scrapbook and recently digital scrapbooking,cardmaking and jewellery making.Hmmmmm maybe I need to change the name of my blog or add to it.I went to my first jewellery making class yesterday and absolutely had a ball,thanks to the lovely girls at Get Beaded,we made 5 gorgeous bracelets with different techniques for beginners.Later that evening I made another 3 bracelets,OMG I think I am hooked......lol......I will show some of the pieces either later today or tomorrow.

Anyway back to my card,I did get a little sidetracked,I made my card for a dear blogging friend whose husband is not very well, I just wanted to help make him smile and let him know that many people do care and that I am thinking of them.I found this card a little challenging to begin with,but when I got started that was it,it all came together.I still have a little trouble embellishing male cards,as I have hardly any male embellishments,but I am happy with the end result.For our Creatalicious challenge this month the theme is "Anything Goes" now how easy is that.I hope to see many of you joining us this month. A baby Boy Card and some Cooking

Hi all,going to try and make this post quick....lol....I have had the flu and am still getting over it,my internet went down and at the moment I am cooking pumpkin soup,slow cooked chicken casserole and have some lemon tea muffins in the oven........oh and after this post need to try and fold the clothes and get them put away.How's that for multi tasking.Anyway,I have been asked to make some baby cards, so started off with this baby boy one,I love this image it is from Digi Doodle Shop and I first saw it on Dora's blog.I loved the cards she made with it,you can see her cards here and here.I have also started a baby girl card with this image,I just need to finish it off with embellishments.The other photos you can see is some of what I cooked last week,pumpkin soup(yes again) and a pumpkin scone loaf........and it tastes so good.You can get the pumpkin scone loaf recipe here if you would like to give it a go.Well,best check on my cooking,will catch up with you all later.Have a good day.

EDIT - I have finished muffins and couldn't work out why they didn't rise and were a little doughy and oh bugger,I forgot the eggs....lol.....Now tell me who forgets eggs,I very rarely make a mistake cooking,so going to blame this on being sick and trying to do too much......lol.....Just to let you know,they still did taste ok.

Good afternoon all,well here is my last Pin Up Girl and isn't she a stunner.Being a showgirl,I decided she needed all the glitz and sparkle.......and this is what I came up with.I was going through my stash to find some long lost items that I might use and I found this Metallic Corrugated Board.This was purchased about 3 years ago and never used,I didn't like it after I purchased it......lol......,but kept it anyway.Well,I am so glad I did, as I really like metallic with this image.If you would like to see this a little clearer,just click on the image.When I upload my images to the post they come out fuzzy,but the original size as you will see is very clear,so no idea what is happening there.Anyway,have a great weekend,I know I will as I am heading off to see Jersey Boys with my friends........OMG I can't wait!!!!

Hi all,I'm back with another Pin Up Girl and I now only have one more to create.I love the spare part on this one,makes it look more like a male card.I had some Kaisercraft papers that were perfect for this card and I even cut some of the images out and popped them up with 3d foam.The yellow textured cardstock is coredinations which I have embossed,sanded and inked.Enjoy the rest of your week.

Hi all,here is another pin up girl for you,I totally love these images.....they are fantastic for those male cards we need to make.Though I am still having trouble finding enough male embellishments,so sorry but here are the stars again....lol.....I have covered the beer glass in glossy accents and used puff paint for the beer foam.The sentiment I got from here........the inside of the card reads "Sooooo, let's all get drunk and go to heaven!" Boyz will be boyz

Hi all,I am back with another card and I am feeling much better this evening...........though I was a bit upset about half an hour ago.No nothing happened,I was watching a movie called Pay it Forward and the little boy died in the end and I started to cry.This happens to me everytime there is something sad in a movie,no matter how hard I try not to cry.....it just happens anyway.Now that you know I cry while watching movies, I best get onto my card.I made this card a few weeks ago and had alot of trouble finding some papers,so these are the ones I ended up using.I really must invest in some boy papers,then making boy cards will be much easier.This image is only one from a set called Boyz will be boyz and you can get them at Bizzy Becs,don't forget to stop by as Bec also has some awesome new dies that you can pre order.Well time to go it's nearly 1am,thanks for stopping by.

Boyz will be Boyz - Cool Cody

Hi all I'm back with another card from the Boyz will be boyz collection.I have used Cool Cody and the train from the accessories pack,I merged to two of them in photoshop.I find embellishing boys cards very hard,I do not have much for boys at all and find I always seem to use stars...lol...I do have one more card to show you from this range,but will show that in the next day or two.I have had a busy day today,both of my girls had birthdays parties to go to and the eldest will be going to a sleepover after her party is finished. I tell you being a taxi can be exhausting....lol....Well enjoy your weekend and I hope you have lots of time for crafting.

One for the Boys and a Creatalicious DT Call

Hi all,here is another card using one of Blue Butterfly Stamps new release boy images "Boyz will be boyz".What a fantastic range this is and perfect for those cheeky little boys in your life....lol....I must say I am finding it hard lately to make boy cards,I do have very little boy papers and embellies, as I have 2 girls.........so everything I have is girly.I covered the water on this image with glossy accents and I used chalk for the sky.I am not that happy with the sky though,I do prefer the airbrush look.But, at this stage I am not looking to buy the airbrush system, as I just don't think I would use it that much............just like some other tools I have........shame on me.....lol.....

Blue Butterfly Stamps New Collection - Boyz will be Boyz

Hi all,its getting late here, but I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know that Bec from Bizzy Becs is releasing some new images, and they will be available as digis from 5th March.The fantastic thing about this release is we now have some more boy images to chose from....yeahhhh and how cute are these.This is Cody in the mud, the little lizard is not a part of this image,but it is a part of the collection I have merged them together on top of Cody's head.Now I do have a little story about how Cody got this dirty,well it is my theory anyway and it goes like this. Cody was chasing the lizard,he feel into the mud and the lizard crawled onto his head.And what do you get.....that priceless look.......lol......I am sure many of our children at some stage have given us looks similar to this...........ahhhh the memories.Well it is 1:45am here and I do need to get to bed,I will catch up with you all tomorrow.Enjoy your day.

Naughty or Nice ?

Hi all,OMG I can't believe I have hardly posted over the last two weeks.I have been really busy with some DT things,I can't tell you yet what it is,but something is exciting is happening at Bizzy Becs so keep a look out.I have also done some cleaning and every night I read to my 4 year old and then she wants me to lie down with her until she falls asleep,well guess who also falls asleep.....lol......,all these late nights are catching up with me.Anyway,I had some time to do a card for me,I have had this image sitting on my desk for a few days and have been itching to colour it...........I just love these sexy images.I purchased the Kenny K Christmas pack which came with these accessories,I merged the Santa hat and present with Lady Raven one of the Gothik Angelz.The papers are digi papers I purchased from Bearly Mine Designs and these ones are the Christmas Dreams set.The oval nestabilities and Magnolia Poinsettia die were purchased from Bizzy Becs and the sentiment is a freebie available at Bizzy Becs store blog,as soon as I saw it I knew it would be perfect for these images.Well it is late again and I am getting tired,looking forward to seeing what you have all been up to tomorrow.Enjoy your day.

Bizzy Becs November Competition

Hi all,firstly I just wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments and hugs on the passing of my Aunty,you are all so wonderful and caring.I am doing better now, I do have my moments and to top it all off my 4 year old got sick on Sunday and she is not sleeping well through the night.....so I am exhausted.I have managed to colour some images,but that is it......well at least I have some ready to go.I will try and stop by to see you all over the next few days,though I do have a wedding to attend on Saturday and the copics certification is on Monday.Just hope I get enough sleep.

A Card For Daniel

Hi everyone,yeah its the weekend and the end of a busy week for me.Last night I had my Mother-in-Law over for dinner.Today has been for shopping for extra groceries,going to the gym,making Lasagne for tomorrow night's dinner and baking pink cupcakes with my little one(I did promise).Tomorrow I have my family coming over for my brother's birthday dinner and Sunday I have a Christening.Anyway,I have made a few cards this week,but I wanted to show this one first.This card was made for Daniel,he is the son of Claire from Crafty C's Crafting Library and she is asking if anyone would like to make her son a card to cheer him up.Daniel turns 13 years old on the 7th November,he is on the Autistic Spectrum suffering from Aspbergers Syndrome. Basically its the inability to socialise or interact socially with others.You can read the read of the story here.Now Daniel loves Spongebob,so I just had to make him a Spongebob card.I googled Spongebob colouring pages and got this image,I also googled fonts and to my surprise got this Spongebob font...lol....you can get it here if you want it.

One Last Boy Card For Now 

Hello all,I have been busy the last few days.We had family photos on Saturday and then I took my little one to another birthday party.On Sunday we had my husbands family over for lunch and our nephew got his barrel of cookies....lol.....I also made them caramel slice and a peach almond cake.Anyway,after such a busy weekend I made some time to get this other requested card done.This card is for the same family as the soccer one,and is for the sister to give her brother, apparently he loved Thomas the Tank Engine when he was little.......so this is why we have this image for a 21st bithday card....lol....I found this image here and coloured it with my copics.

Another Boy Card

Good afternoon,here is another commissioned card.I was asked to make a soccer card for a 21 year old and it had to be in his team colours.I found this card quite difficult to make when I got to choosing the papers,as I had no orange DP to suit the card,so I had to emboss an orange panel.The other issue I faced was that there were no adult male soccer digi images to be found,so I emailed Mo Manning asking if she would kindly draw a male soccer player........and she did.Thankyou so much Mo for drawing this FANTASTIC image,it is much appreciated.Here is the link to Mo's Digital Pencil,so you can check out her other brilliant images.I am going to enter this card into these challenges -
