Thinking of you....

So I needed a rush card this week for a sick friend and I didn't have much time to make one, so I updated an old one I still had. I needed a more mature and peaceful image for my card so I used this Penny Black Butterfly image called soft wings. I used a gold metallic ink to stamp and did some clear embossing over the top added extra flowers and pearls and there you go. The recipient loved it, she was in awe of all the detail, so I assume she has never received a card like this before. Have a great day.

Penny Black Puppy
Hello everyone,it has been very hot the last two days and I just can't function in the heat.Give me the cold weather, thats when I really enjoy scrapbooking and cardmaking. This card should have been posted yesterday, but I just had one of those non inspiration days and I just didn't like the DP.I went to a scrapbooking store and purchased more DP Basic Grey Bittersweet, which I was really happy with,it is just beautiful.I then decided,I wasn't going to give up,I had to use that DP whether I liked it or not.Well this is what I finally came up with,I am still not happy with it but it is alot better than the earlier designs.Hopefully someone will like it.Thanks for looking.

Spinning a yarn
I was asked by some friends if I could make a Hens Night card,I had no idea what I was going to do as I had never heard of this before.I remembered seeing a chicken card on Pickled Paper Designs,so I went and had a look to see if i could get the name of the stamp and it was Penny Black - Spinning a yarn and I purchased the stamp.
With inspiration from Pickled Paper Designs(she is a very talented lady),this is the end result. It was an A4 sheet of cardstock folded in half,it had to be big enough for everyone to write inside and for me to make it personalised on the front.I really enjoyed making this card and the girls loved it.
