Some More Christmas Cards
Hi all,it's been a busy few days for me and some more busy days ahead.I made these christmas cards about a week ago, they needed to be very simple so I could get quite a few made.I went all white with the first and cheated a little using a Sassy Cheryl's pre coloured image, and I just love how quick they were to make.I also used the spellbinder snowflakes and covered them with diamond dust......love this stuff. The spellbinder dies and embossing folder are available at Bizzy Becs. The wreath cards were made using a Verve image and sentiment,I must admit I still love Verve for those quick and elegant cards.I stamped the bow again and popped it up on 3d foam for some dimension.Well best go,I need to catch up on some blog hopping and cardmaking. Thanks for stopping by.

Alicia's Challenge
Hi all, have had a busy week since we got back from holidays.I had parties to take the girls to,food shopping to do(they all kept saying there was no food in the house)...lol....,back to school and back to the gym.I think we are now getting back into the swing of things again.Alicia challenged us to make six beautiful cards in an hour, well I knew this was just impossible for me....lol....as I always fuss about with cards. You can go over the hour which is exactly what I did, they took me an hour and 40 minutes to complete and yep sure enough I am the slowest so far....lol.....Now they do look simple, but the extra time was taken up cutting the circles with my nestabilities as well as embossing the image with copper embossing powder. The circle and Merry Christmas sentiment are two seperate stamps.Well I am glad I now have six more chrissy cards, thanks for the challenge Alicia. If you would like to join in with the challenge, you have until Sunday and you can check the details here.

Mojo Monday #124
Good evening,I have had a busy day today and when I got home I just felt like making a card......a bit of therapy........lol........There was no retail therapy,as I have no money, sigh!!! I decided to do the Mojo Monday sketch and this weeks sketch was perfect for the image I wanted to use.I have had this stamp set for a while and have been wanting to use it,I really do love how these Verve Stamp sets always turn out a classy card with little effort. Now when I saw the sketch and decided I was going to use it,I got into a panic.I don't know what planet I was on, but I thought this card had to be finished by sometime this evening or I would miss the challenge.I was 3/4 the way through making the card when I realised.........what are you doing? You have until Monday to finish it......lol.......I think I am still tired or crazy!!! Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day/evening.

The last of my Journals and another Christmas card
Good morning, here is the last of my journals, you won't see anymore of these at least for a while....lol.....And yes another Christmas card, thats all I have been making lately and I still have one more to do,then hopefully that is it.But I am thinking I will get an early start on them next year as I have been so rushed this year and its not much fun trying to create so many at the same time. This christmas card I cased from Laura at Scrapnextras she makes the most amazing cards.I changed it a little to have the baubles look like they are hanging from a tree, you can see Laura's card here. Now onto the journal,I love the colours in this, the Hydrangeas are from Bizzy Becs and there are so many beautiful colours available. The heart pearls are also from Bizzy Becs and are so pretty, they will be available soon.Must start my last Christmas card, have a good day.

Mojo Monday Week 112
While my internet has been slowed down I have been trying to catch up on some cards I have to make. When I went to the gym yesterday I was asked to make 12 Christmas cards and 1 baby card, some ladies at my husbands work also want some Christmas cards and between them they need 20.So back to the quick Chrissy cards again,it is getting closer to Christmas now and a little bit of panic is starting to creep in......lol.....I'll just have to take a deep breath.
This is the first card and I used the Mojo Monday sketch,I loved this sketch and it was just perfect for this beautiful image. On the top strip there is supposed to be a bow,but it didn't matter how many things I put there it just didn't look right........so I left it blank. The red paper is actually Making Memories Glittered Poinsettia from the FaLaLa range,I still have one full sheet left.I have had them this long because they are so beautiful and I didn't want to cut them......lol....they are very glittery, maybe that is why the bow didn't look right. In the centre of the poinsettia's I have used Bizzy Bec's gorgeous new pearls and they look fabulous...........you should see them IRL.I am slowlyyyyyy visiting your blogs and have been writing down the last blog I have visited each time I leave the blogroll,so hopefully I don't miss anyone.I won't be up to date but at least I won't be so far behind when I get my speed back tomorrow............CAN'T WAIT!!!! Thanks for your wonderful comments and thankyou so much Cheryl and Gvendalen for the awards you passed onto me,I will post them in a couple of days,it will take me too long to link other blogs at the moment with my slow speed.Have a wonderful evening.

Verve and Mojo Monday
Hi there,I am sorry for not visiting much over the last week,I have been so busy and pretty much only getting 5 hours sleep a night and by last night I was exhausted. This week I had to finish the last 20 of the 50 christmas cards I had to make, I did not get to them until Wednesday and I completed them on Friday, and here is the picture of all 50 of them.I delivered them to my friend in Wollongong yesterday,we left at 9.00am and returned home at 5.30pm,a fun but exhausting day.I also had the two get well cards to complete, one of them is the post before this one and I said I would show you the other one, well I can't find the photo. So I think I have forgotten to take one as I was in such a rush to complete them.I also made a Wedding card that had to be given to another friend on Friday and there was a rush with this as well, the wedding was on Saturday,so I don't have a photo for that either.I hope all that made sense....lol....

I now have to do 2 sympathy cards, well as we all know these are such sad cards to do,but they do have to be done. This is the first one and I decided to use the Mojo monday sketch,I wanted a simple and elegant card and Verve stamps always make elegant cards. This didn't take long,as there was not much colouring.I have flipped the sketch to the side,so it worked with my image and instead of a star I used a sentiment.I also added the blue panel towards the end,as I felt like it needed a little bit more of the blue.Well, off to do the other sympathy card and tonight well be dedicated to blog hopping, thanks for visiting. Edit, and you know what I just did,put this post on our challenge blog.....lol.......just had to fix it up.

Good afternoon all my crafty friends, this is a quick post,I am going to catch up on some cardmaking and blog hopping. Now I mentioned on Saturday about the sweets I was making for my friend and here they are, they are my favourite and I was so tempted to cut a piece of each and then give them to her.......lol.....but I didn't.My mouth just had to water,so I thought I would share with you and now you are probably wanting some sweets right now.....lol.....The bottom one is Passionfruit Cheesecake and the other is Lemon Meringue Pie.Well onto the card,I made this with the Verve Stamp set Miracles Blossom,I love this set but not really fussed on the card.Never mind someone may like it at the craft stall I will be at in two weeks. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.
