Bizzy Becs September Challenge and some more parcels.....

Hi all,well I nearly forgot to put this card up today,my brain is in overload with the many things I have to remember to do......lol.......and my favourite coffee(a cappucino) has been my best friend over the last few weeks.Anyway this months challenge is a colour challenge and Bec wants to see you create something with the colours Blue,Green and White. Last week I received some more parcels and WOW you are all so generous and all so modest,some of you say it is only something small,but to Lyndall,her family and her friends it is a big deal.It is the thought that counts and to know that so many of you care and want to send something no matter how small is so special,we can never thank you all enough.I will be doing a blog candy and will have it all organised in about 2 weeks,this is my thankyou to you all for everything you have done.

 Thanks so much for your wonderful parcel Barbara,everything is beautiful and from different parts of the world.Your cards are so beautiful and will be sold very quickly.It was wonderful seeing it all IRL.

I have loved admiring all of your handmade creations,it is just fabulous to be able to see them all IRL,they are all AMAZING and the photos just don't do them justice.

My friends and myself doing some final preps for the benefit night on Saturday.We were organising the powerpoint presentation for the auction,so it can all be seen on a big screen, laminating about 115 placemats designed by us all and also putting together the table numbers.There are still more things to get done this week,but I know we will all get it done and the night will be fabulous.Thanks so much to you all for your understanding of me not being able to do much commenting at the moment,I will try to get to some blog hopping tonight.Well off to finish the last 5 table numbers and get dinner done,catch you all later.

A Card drive for Elise and some Blog Candy

Hi all,I do have some cards to show you tomorrow,but first I have some sad news about one of our fellow bloggers.Elise from Paper Love Affair has just recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,she wasn't going to say anything,but decided to post her story in the hopes of raising more awareness of this disease.What also upset me was knowing that Elise has a 4 year old son,my youngest is 4 1/2 and as you  know you do worry about your children,I just can't imagine what Elise is going through right now.Elise has a long road ahead,so I am asking all you generous crafters out there to make Elise a cheery uplifting card to help her get through this.You can read Elise's Story here and here.When Bec from Bizzy Becs heard Elise's story,she wanted to help, so she has put up this AWESOME blog candy for one lucky person.Thanks Bec,you are wonderful and so very generous.So here is what you could win

My Card For Elise

Good afternoon.It was a busy week this week.Thursday night I had my MIL for dinner,Saturday it was my mums turn for dinner,Sunday I had my niece's christening and after that we visited my aunty in hospital for a few hours.Well I was tired Sunday evening,but I managed to get Elise's card done and I am so happy I have finished it.I still have a blog candy going that you can enter if you make Elise a card,so if you have time I would love for you to enter and make Elise a card.You can enter here.All of the embellishments and image are available at Bizzy Becs,some may not be available as I have had the for quite some time.The gorgeous digi ticket is available from Bizzy Becs digi store.I love this beautiful tassel ribbon,its the first time I have used it,but I love how you can frame things with it,it is also available at Bizzy Becs in a few colours.Some exciting news I have managed to get into the next copics certification course and I am so looking forward to going and learning some new techniques.This will be my first copics course,everything I have done so far has been learnt through blog hopping,so I am really looking forward to a proper class.

I am going to enter this card to the Sweet Pea Stampers challenge and it is to do an easel card.....love these!!!

An Autumn Sweet Pea

Hi all,I did say I would share some Christmas cards with you,but I was asked yesterday to make a card with autumn colours and this is the end result.I have used a Sweet Pea Stamp,some gorgeous lace and roses all available at Bizzy Becs.I must say I just love those orange roses they are gorgeous IRL,I purchased what was left at Bizzy Becs.......hmmmm best ask Bec if she is going to get more of them,I might have to get a stash of these ones.The wings,moon and edges of cardstock have all had stickles added to them.......which is hard to see.I am entering this in a few challenges which is why I am posting it now.I see many of you entering so many challenges,I also wanted to give it a go and you know.........I don't know how you all do it.....lol.....I started with a few challenges in mind and then looked up the rest after my card was completed OMG it takes up so much time....lol....Well here are the 5 challenges I am entering

My First Sweet Pea Stamps Card

Good morning all,I just had to show you my first Sweet Pea card........how beautiful are these images.I received this image and another off Bec for my birthday,thankyou so much Bec.Well, for some reason I really wanted to make my card purple and red,but these were the only papers I had in that colour.I am not sure I like these papers anymore,but you know I am pleased that I am using some of my old stash.The roses and leaves came from Bizzy Becs,the ribbon was a birthday present from Michele and the rest of the embellishments are from my stash.I have used this months sketch from the CLP challenge blog,so will be entering my card there.Well,must go,I need to get the groceries done before the girls get home.I will catch up with you all this evening.........enjoy your day.
