Rubber Band Technique
Hello, sorry I did not post a card yesterday, I was so tired and had a headache I didn't feel up to stamping.........that is not normally me as I like to stamp everyday. The family were wondering who was sitting in the family room with them........lol........,I am normally in my craft room.I have been wanting to use my new Stampin'Up! stamp set that has not been released yet,but will be on the 1st April.I love this set,I have seen it on many other blogs and was hoping we were going to get it and we did.I have also used my retired set Roses in Winter,I saw on Karen's blog Luv to Stamp how to make 3d roses with this set and this is what I have done for this card.If you want a more realistic rose there is another tutorial and it is on Splitcoaststampers,I have not yet made one of these roses but they are so pretty.I wish that I had used more rubber bands but the acrylic block looked like it had enough on it,I will use more next time.It is hard to see,but I have clear embossed the rubber band background and also added Diamond Stickles to the butterflies and the edges of the rose. This is the best photo I could get,It looks so much prettier in person. Thanks for stopping by.

I just love everything about it - the colours, the layout and that rose is awesomely stunning.
I've seen rubber bands on brayers but never on a acrylic block - guess what I'm off to try now (teehee)
