My First Halloween Card

I can't believe Monday was my last post,I have been very busy with appointments and shopping for my daughters Halloween birthday party costume.............and oh my gosh what a job that was.She just couldn't make up her mind,anyway she decided to get dressed up as a Dryad which I think in Greek mythology is a tree spirit.I hope it turns out...........we are just going to do the best we can,and at least we will have fun making her costume.

Anyway here is the card I made for my daughters friend, the birthday girl,I had to try and talk my daughter into a halloween card.I have been wanting to make one for so long and finally got my wish.....lol.....I'm a big kid. My daughter loves it,she also chose the image which we got from Whimsie Doodles,I just love this image and I think she is perfect for young girls.The bats,spider and pumpkin are cuttlebug dies,the bats have only been glued down by the body so the wings are 3d,the same as the spider.You can't see the spider very well in this photo but it has been covered in black kindyglitz.The pumpkin,image and sentiment have also been popped up with 3d foam tape.I have also put glossy accents on the belt,glasses and shoes.I think that is it,must do some blog hopping now and then get started on the costume.Thanks for stopping by and for all of your wonderful comments,have a good day.
