Mojo Monday # 73 and Colour Create Challenges
Hi everyone, sorry I have not posted in a couple of days I have felt saddened over the recent bushfires in Victoria..........so many lives lost and homes destroyed, my thoughts and prayers go out to the families.I have not felt like making any cards,so I spent the time with my family realising how lucky I am to have a roof over my head and my family by my side.I have decided not to spend money on cardmaking/scrapbooking goodies at this time.........I will donate it to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal, every little bit helps even if you don't have alot to donate. There is also a need for blood at a later date as they have enough for the moment,so you can register here for when it is needed. Also, this Friday Coles is donating all of their profits from sales to the bushfire Appeal,I will also be doing my shopping on this day.I thought I should share with you some of the things you could do to help.
Now for something a little happier,I did make a card this evening,I decided to use the Mojo Monday # 73 and Colour Create Challenges making it easier for me to create a card. This sketch was a little easier than the last for me,which is why the card came together quite quickly.I liked the colour combo, but wasn't sure if I could make a card that I liked with it.I was quite happy with the end result and the colours seemed to blend in quite well.I hope you have a happy day and thanks for stopping by and reading my post.

This is fantastic. Your DIY flowers are incredible - they really suite the distressed edges on the card. Just beautiful. Thanks for joining the Colour Create Challenge.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the bushfires too.

Cheryl, this is a lovely card and great take on the challenges. I have a friend who lives near the fires and blessedly, did not lose anything, but knows people who did. Thanks for your thoughtfulness regarding this tragedy and thanks for sharing with us!
