Creatalicious Challenge #10
Good morning all,all I can say is yeahhh its the weekend and I can't believe we are up to Creatalicious challenge #10, time flies when you are having fun. This week Kylie set the challenge and she has decided we are going to -

"Take a trip to the Orient - Asian Themed"

I decided to do another scrap page for my nephew and his gorgeous girlfriend, and lucky for me the photos they wanted me to start with were Japan. So I took advantage of this and did some more pages for their album. They want to keep the album simple and I have also decided not to overembellish with flowers,my nephew said "he could handle some flowers but not too many".....lol......So I think the clean and simple look for them would be best,I am also using some bits and pieces they saved from the trip to add to the album.I love the black and red theme on this one,it really does give it that oriental feel.I purchased the lantern from the QuicKutz online store and cut them with my silhouette,I then added Bizzy Becs gorgeous rhinestones to bling them up a little.I am having alot of fun using my silhouette and WOW its saves so much money on scrapbooking..........what's not to love about that.I am really pleased with how this page turned out,I think I achieved that clean simple look I was after.............giving the photos centre stage.Don't forget to check out the other beautiful DT creations, you are sure to be inspired.

Well I must go,I won't be able to catch up with you all until sometime Sunday,my youngest is having her birthday party today and I will be busy with that. And I expect a dear friend that will be there as well, to stay quite late, there is always gossip to catch up on....lol.... So enjoy your weekend, will be back Sunday.
