Magnolia Down Under Challenge #2
Good afternoon,I finally finished my Magnolia challenge card and boy what a challenge.I love ribbons, but to put 5 different ones on a card nearly drove me nuts........lol........I finally decided to make a ribbon blossom, well that wasn't easy either.I think some of my ribbons were too thick and they were hard to tie, especially the blue one.You aren't supposed to see any knots and you can see my top one.My suggestion would be to use satin or organza ribbon,I found grosgrain too thick and the organza worked beautifully. You can find the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. The end result is also supposed to be larger, but I had to trim mine as it was covering Tilda.I was going to chop the blossom off,but decided I had spent too much time on it to do that.I don't love it,though I am pleased with how it turned out for my first try.I also received my Martha Stewart Lace Doily punch........Yehhhhhhh and wanted to use it on this card, well the ribbon blossom covered that as well, now I know why I used giggling Tilda.......lol.......Have a wonderful evening.
