Creatalicious Challenge #5
Good afternoon,I am a bit late with posting my DT creation,I had another hectic day yesterday and I do hope that is the end of them.I had to do some more christmas shopping in the morning,be at an appt by 12.00pm finished there and got home by 1pm.I then started the challenge blog post and had 2 friends visit to pick up some things, then it was time to pick up my daughter from school at 3.15pm. As soon as we got home she had to get ready for her school formal,we had to be there at 5pm,and she looked beautiful. The dress was purple but didn't come out the right colour in the photo. After we dropped them off it was time to come home, and we needed to be back there by 8.45pm so the kids could have a dance with their parents. They all had a fabulous night and they have all grown up so very quickly, its hard to believe they are heading off to high school next year.I went to the school a bit earlier today to take photos of my daughter with some of her friends and OMG the tears were flowing,it was hard for the parents to keep back their tears.Just watching them took me back to when I left and you remember what a huge stepping stone this is in their life and can be quite scary, they go from being the big kids in school back to being the babies. That's enough from me,I think I am starting to waffle....lol.....
Onto the Creatalicious Challenge, this is our last challenge for this year and the next one will start on the 15th January. This months challenge is a fun one and here it is

Something Old, Something New, Something Torn and Something Blue.
You do not have to make a Wedding themed creation,it can be anything as long as it includes the above.

I didn't have time to make something different, luck was on my side and I had to make a journal with blue in it.My floral paper is OLD,my something NEW is the stamp purchased for these journals,I TORE the paper and have used BLUE cardstock.Have fun with the challenge and have a look at the other DT creations they are fantastic, we look forward to visiting your blogs.Well I am off to catch up on your blogs, thankyou so much for all your wonderful comments........I do appreciate them.

Oh dear Cheryl, you just teared me up thinking back to my daughter's last day of primary school last year. My daughter and her best bud didn't stop crying. I took them to see Twilight that afternoon and it wasn't until they came out of the movies that they'd stopped crying and started begging be to take them to see the sequel when it came out. Very emotional day. Your daughter looks beautiful. I hope she had a great night and that all her friends enjoyed those fabulous journals you made them.

Hi Cheryl.
The notebook is fabulous and will be appreciated I'm sure.
Your daughter looks gorgeous in her dress. I'll bet she was a big hit at her formal. It's emotional looking back to when they were young. My oldest son is 38 and I still see him and his brother (36) as my wee boys.
Special Hugs,

Your daughter looks just beautiful Cheryl, I hope she had a lot of fun at her formal. My baby finished primary school too, so I can totally relate - and it sure is hard to hold back the tears, I know. Merry Christmas to you all.

Hi Cheryl,
Aaaah, your daughter looks gorgeous. No wonder you are so proud. I nearly cried too the other day when I went see my son in his nativity. My other 3 year old son was sitting on my knee joining in all the songs,a she knew them all from hearing Jack practice them at home. It was just sucha precious moment. Your journal looks fab too. Must do mine now.
Big Hugs,
