Folded Shirt Cricket Card
Here is the Cricket card I promised yesterday, this was a little bit of a challenge as I did not have any Cricket paper. This card is meant to represent the English Cricket Team,so the only colours I could use were Blue,Red and White. My husband did draw the side panels for the shirt and cut them out for me........LOL.......he likes getting involved occasionally, but hasn't made a full card yet.If he needs to give me a card, he usually sneaks it from ones I have already made.......a bit cheeky........there is nothing like getting your own card back......it's a laugh everytime.I am going to have a great time Saturday making Christmas cards with my nephew and his girlfriend and decorating a tin with my friends on Sunday.I hope you all have a crafty weekend.

60th Birthday Soccer Card
A different card to show you today,I was asked to make a birthday card to represent an English Soccer(Football) Team.I wasn't sure where to start,I had no Soccer Stamps so the only other idea I had was to fold a shirt. So I used Cambria Turnbow's(another talented lady) shirt tutorial and tried to replicate the Soccer shirt, this is as close as I could get to the shirt and colours.I am pleased with how it turned out,my husband did help with one part, he has to draw and cut out the designs for the shirts,I am not very good at drawing. He does like to check out the designs and give his opinion some good, some not so good.........LOL.......Tomorrow I will post the Cricket card.Happy Crafting.

The Snowflake Spot
This card is very simple to make and I think quite stunning,I have embossed the snowflakes in Holographic embossing powder, which you cannot see.Taking a photo of this card to show the embossing was difficult so I gave up in the end.If you could see the card in real life the embossing is very shiny and has some glitter in it.
Now I love using the Cuttlebug embossing folders,I find though that they do not cover a whole card front and they are only smaller by about 0.5cm. I couldn't add ribbon to the bottom of the card to cover it,so as you can see I have only used a portion of the embossing folder on this card, and finished it off with embossing lines with my Scor Pal. Thanks for stopping by to look and have a fantastic day.

Casing Moonlight Inker
Moonlight Inker is another favourite blog I visit (I have my favourites listed) this lady does amazing cards.I noticed a card on one of my visits and knew I had to give it a go, vintage cards are a favourite of mine, but they can sometimes be daunting or out of your comfort zone(as Moonlight Inker puts it).In my opinion I think she has done a fantastic job,I love it.
This is what I came up with, the colours are the same, though I have used more green.I have not added embellishments other than the Kaiser pearls, they did not seem to work on my card like Moonlight Inkers.I am pleased with the card and love how it turned out.

Spinning a yarn
I was asked by some friends if I could make a Hens Night card,I had no idea what I was going to do as I had never heard of this before.I remembered seeing a chicken card on Pickled Paper Designs,so I went and had a look to see if i could get the name of the stamp and it was Penny Black - Spinning a yarn and I purchased the stamp.
With inspiration from Pickled Paper Designs(she is a very talented lady),this is the end result. It was an A4 sheet of cardstock folded in half,it had to be big enough for everyone to write inside and for me to make it personalised on the front.I really enjoyed making this card and the girls loved it.

Scribble This Poinsettia Christmas Card

I had seen on a few blogs how to use the Stampin' Up! Scribble This flower to create a poinsettia.I don't know who originally came up with the idea, but I thought it was really clever and wanted to give it a go.Before even starting the card I knew what papers and colours I wanted to use, and that I wanted the poinsettia to look as realistic as possible. It was just the design I had to think about and this is what I came up with.I really like how it turned out.

The flower is first embossed and cut out, twice in red and once in green.Cut the leaves into seperate pieces, roll the red flowers on the underside and down around a smooth pen or pencil. You don't want them curling upwards and then layer them together.Once you have finished your card, add the Kindyglitz 3D.The kindyglitz does take a while to dry,I leave mine overnight to make sure.Enjoy making the card.
